Re: Abrams Trek review thread *HEAVY SPOILERS*

Holding a gun on gangbangers....that was my mental picture of CX anyway.

Re: Abrams Trek review thread *HEAVY SPOILERS*

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is officially an impasse (am I even spelling that right?). I'm not budging, he's not budging. It's finished.

Re: Abrams Trek review thread *HEAVY SPOILERS*

No, CX but if this whole thing is just SO unbearable, why bother being pissed off about it? Why bother doing what every fucking Star Trek fan did after Season four of TNG and ruthlessly hate on change? Why not wave good bye and walk away? Most of the problems in Trek would've been easily solved with...

Re: Abrams Trek review thread *HEAVY SPOILERS*

The following is a matter of opinion and should not be taken as a personal offense against anybody, especially anyone on this board. While it has a few direct references to CX, it's designed more as a general "Blowing off Steam" after I had a similar conversation with two college buddies....

Re: Abrams Trek review thread *HEAVY SPOILERS*

Alright, I'm still on the fence about this reboot but I now, honestly believe that I liked the movie. I really am one of those "something better then nothing" guys and I'm frankly just happy to have some kind of new product rather then just worshiping a dead franchise. This whole thing has...

Re: CX was right

Meh. and I'm sure the stories told by the crew of Archer's Enterprise about "sexy Orion women" were pretty wild. Or at least that's my take on it since trying to figure out how Nero's little time trip might have resulted in the alternative (not only in an Orion female being in Star Fleet,...

CX was right

It's official...there was an Orinion in Starfleet! Galia was also the NICEST Orinion we've seen so far which proves that not all of them are psycho sex monsters.

I'm rolling the dice and saying she got off the Farragut by the way.

Re: How I'd "reboot" Star Trek

I just saw the trailer in the theater. New Uhura seemed kind of skany to me, say what you want about those uniforms but Nichelle still managed to hang on to her drawers. New Scotty has me seeing red. Doohan played Scotty like a manly bad ass, a hard core sailor who would fight a room full of Klingon...

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Gah but THE VOICE!! :explode: :faint: I LOVE the Voice. It's like dew drops on sunflowers, DAMNIT! Then again I guess y'all ain't planning to have conversations with her. :? If I ever actually met her, I'd probably just sort of stand there and drool. As for splitting her, well lets not turn ...

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I love Summer Glau...love her, lover her, love her. I mean like "She is the future Mrs. THECURSOR"-style love her.

I wasn't even planning on watching that show until I discovered she was on it and I crossed my fingers that she'd have a lot of scenes. Hooray.

Re: New Trek Sucks So Friggin Hard (Spoilers, Possible Mature)

Playing devils advocate: J.J. Abrams has very little control over the film's marketing and this might be the studio trying to mass market a very "Trek" Film. But my first thoughts are...No. Uhura taking her top off is made of fail.

New Trek Sucks So Friggin Hard (Spoilers, Possible Mature)

I'm back now after leaving for my quadren....quadri....four year hiatus, just in time for me to get so mad I'm about ready to do something violent. This is the new Star Trek Trailer WWTDD (fair warning- The celebrity gossip blog that hosts this bootleg on it's front page is a little racy and I can't...
