Re: Rigil's New Endeavour thread...
It's getting late and I don't have time to write a great deal, but I just wanted to let you know that I find your story very compelling. Your depiction of the horrors of war is very realistic and sadly all too true. This is some of the best writing you've done. It's wonderful.

Re: Malcolm/Hoshi story
Hoshi's treatment at the hands of the Xindi was sadly overlooked after Countdown. This story is a lovely, intimate look at two emotionally vulnerable people. It's easy to see why they'd be drawn to one another. I liked Hoshi's observation that any relationship with Malcolm would require extra effort...

Re: Review and grade episode 3-06 "Exile"
I gave this episode a 2. I'm not sure that I'd go out of my way to see it again. I don't care how much information Archer thought Tarquin had, I find it inconceivable that Archer would leave Hoshi alone with him. The man was little more than a stalker. He didn't care what Hoshi wanted from life; he ...

Re: Rigil's New Endeavour thread...
You sure do know how to write battles! I'm envious! It sure was an all-around bad day for Hernandez. I hate to see Columbia go, but at least it won't all be in vain. Great chapters.

Re: A request
The "Date Added" section here in the archives should solve one of your problems. As for HoT, all you want is just a list of the stories? Yes? No? I can do that for you. If you want fancy things like urls & other techie stuff, I probably won't be much help.

Re: Review and grade episode 3-05 "Impulse"
I really wanted to like this episode more than I do. Two things bothered me: Archer once again had to save poor T'Pol and the effect of the trellium on the Selaya's crew. T'Pol went bonkers when exposed to the trellium, but the other Vulcans reminded me more of zombies. It was too bad they killed of...

Re: Living Beyond: My Story in Progress
I am enjoying your story very much. You've established some interesting characters. I do have to admit that I wish Trip and T'Pol were a little more involved in the story. I would think that Trip especially would want to get to know his granddaughters. I'm looking forward to reading more of your sto...

Re: Review and grade episode 3-04 "Rajiin"
I loved the dickering over the spices and the sections with Trip and T'Pol. The rest was kind of a snooze. The episode would have been so much better if Rajiin had showed up later in season 3, tying her scans to the chemical weapon for example. As it stands, the episode really amounted to nothing. I...

Re: Perceptions of Malcolm
On the show, Malcolm came across as a self-reliant, introverted, yet dedicated individual. He had a strong dedication to duty and he is very good at what he does. Once he settled into life on Enterprise and made friends with Trip, he loosened up a bit personally, but there was never any question tha...

Re: Perceptions of Malcolm
Perhaps boards isn't the correct term. Sites may be better choice of words. FanFiction and EntStCommunity come to mind. I just start to get into a story and her comes Malcolm the martyr. I think he deserves better.

I've got the first sentence on a sequel written. Does that count?

Perceptions of Malcolm
It seems as though an increasing number of fanfic writers on other boards have decided to depict Malcolm as this rather pitiful, self-destructive character who seems hell-bent on throwing his life away on ill-advised efforts to protect everyone from Archer to Porthos. He stubbornly refuses to listen...
