Re: What if the crew had remembered the events of "Twilight"?
I have to say that when I think of the episode I think of Honeybee's "Dusk" If they allowed the crew to remember a similar kind of back story I could definitely see it. Everyone remembering the possible future would either break them or renew their sense of purpose under the right leadersh...

Re: Yowling Rant
I'm sorry I brought up religion. I was so irritated I had to vent, but kind of regretted it when I left the house. I don't have a problem with the material presented as a historical document to focus on the literary influences of the time, I would have been perfectly fine with that. BTW, it is "...

Re: Yowling Rant
Daughter's class had to read an entire 2 pg historical sermon together, discuss the bible and then give their interpretation of what God wants. Did I mention this is a public school and not even her history class? Not happy. Not happy at all!

I vaguely remember Gene Roddenberry saying that he had more in mind for Uhura's character and responsibilities but just couldn't get it by the execs. Not sure of this though.
Perhaps the movie was suppose to show us what Uhura should have been without the limitations of the TOS production era.

You're welcome and yes. The lime preserves everything for a while and you can usually tell when it's ready to toss. The veggies will soften to the point where you think it's definitely on it's way to becoming a gazpacho some time around the third or fourth day. I think the change in texture comes be...

Re: Calling All Cooks
I've stopped measuring so I can't really give specific amounts. We could live on this stuff if we had tomatoes year-round! 1 part chopped cilantro 1 part diced peppers (bell for sweet or jalapeno for a kick) 1 part diced onion 1 part diced tomato 1 whole lime (some people like more, some like less) ...

Alelou,
Perhaps yogurt or kefir (better) to help with the yeasties while you find out what's going on and what you want/have to do?

I think the one you're talking about is from "Home" when T'Pol tells Trip about marrying Koss.

WG, I think you're thinking of Central and South Florida. North Florida, by most, is considered "The South," while Central and South Florida are not, even though it's geographically located in the south. This is not a first-hand account but from those I know that were raised or moved to th...

Don't forget "Food Inc."
Enterprikayak, you'll find High Fructose Corn Syrup in almost everything... take a look at the bread's ingredients list. There's been a small trend to return to sugar but still, not sure why our foods have to be so sweet and salty.

I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here. Perhaps it's just a kind of growing pains type of relationship. One of my closest friends had the same strained relationship with her father for many of the same reasons. Many years after she moved out, she and her father had a long talk about why he did what...

Weren't the first two eps in Season 4 related to the Temporal Cold War? I wasn't a big fan of that plot so I was happy to see it dropped.
