Sweet!
Looks like it's not too far outside of Philly.
I might be able to manage this one.
Keep your fingers crossed that work lets me take this off.

"In Search of Hope" by TLR
Anyone know what's going on with this story?
I've read the rest of the Little Lizzie series on HOT.
And I've asked around on their forums....But no one seems to have heard from TLR.
I'm kinda hoping someone here may know.

Re: Rigil's New Endeavour thread...
If there was a slot available (as there very obviously was in this case), he might also get promoted. If there wasn't a slot available, he'd at least be put on the fast track for promotion. If he was enlisted and stepped up in the way he did, it's entirely possible he'd receive a battlefield commis...

Re: Rigil's New Endeavour thread...
Ha! So I finally got caught up...good thing I'm a speed reader! See I knew those years of reading boring Army reports would come in handy....because of the mundaneness of them I learned to breeze through them.....only problem now is that I tend to do that with everything I read. :? Sucks when it's s...

Re: Cherry Hill, NJ Convention - July 19 - 22, 2007!!
That's the weekend after Shore leave isn't it?
How far is Cherry Hill from Baltimore?
I know it takes me at least 3 hours to drive to Bridgewater, and another hour or so to drive to NYC.
If it's not too bad of a drive AND I can get the time off work.....maybe I can make it.

I just wanted to send you Kudos RK. I've gotten halfway through your series so far......the first book about blew me away. Are you going to bring Hoshi back into the picture any time soon? I get the impression that she must feel lost without Malcom.....having a wee one to raise to boot....that must ...

Re: Perceptions of Hoshi
Hoshi reminds me alot of myself actually. I was very shy quiet and wallflowerish in High School. Imagine everyone's shock when I announced I was going into the Army. Based on my character no one thought I could do it.....but I did. So in that regard I don't find the marital arts revelation to be so ...

Thanks RK.
Also please keep in mind the Contractors/Civilians who have died in the line of duty as well.
They unfortunately are often forgotten as people take time out to reflect on the sacrifices of our honored dead.
Lest we forget.

I served under 2 administrations (one of each political party) and under both administrations our military strugg...

Re: Romulans
Not sure if this was mentioned but....another good series that explains the Romulan/ Vulcan separation is The Vulcan Soul Series by Josepha Sherman and Susan Shwartz.
I liked it almost as much as I liked the Rihannsu series.
