Ow. Ow. Ouch.
But Mayweather is gonna make it, according to your master list.
She didn't get the fleet admiral? Grrr. Gotta nail that SOB. Must have been the fool he was going to send in, the one they were talking about in an earlier chapter.

It's updated to this scene. There are a couple of individuals on that list that will not survive this fic.

Great scene! Not surprised by the outcome, but of course you'd know that!
Poor Archer! (Never thought I'd ever say that)

*sigh* Erika didn't know he was going to propose... how tragic. At least she went out making a difference in the battle.
Lovely work as always, Rigil. Although somehow, "lovely" doesn't seem like the right adjective for a brutal space battle.

You sure do know how to write battles! I'm envious! It sure was an all-around bad day for Hernandez. I hate to see Columbia go, but at least it won't all be in vain. Great chapters.

I am really not happy with this scene right now, so expect it to undergo some changes...

Actually I think it was appropriate. You have conveyed the horror and defeat well. This and the previous scene should not leave one happy.

The inevitable has happened... It will be interesting when you tally up the survivors compared to the losses. And I still wonder what happened to Anna Hess.

I like that Archer has the residual effects of having Surak's katra. It's all very sad, though, this death and destruction.

Re: Rigil's New Endeavour thread...
Well ... there is a war going on and in war, people die.
I think that, once I get this thing betaed and submit to TriSilk, I'll include a very big Author's Note warning about the impending death and destruction and mayhem. Not everyone will want to read that, which I totally understand, but as the Endeavour series continues to be a wartime tale, it's absolutely necessary.
The thing with Surak & Archer occurred to me 'cause I recall a line from somewhere about how people who carry a katra always have a residual connection to that katra. Don't recall where I heard it (although it had to be either Spock/McCoy or Picard/Sarek) and I may be completely misremembering it anyway, but that's okay, I guess.
