I can't wait to read the next part of your story Rigil and Acheron by the way what story or mythology does the title come from since you like to have your stories have a tie in to the mythology. That last chapter Dan was really good and what wrong lesson did the Romulans learn. The fact they executed the Romulan soldiers for failure was pretty brutal.

Acheron = River of Woe, a tributary of the River Styx.

an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

thanks for the explanation Evecake with a title like that you know the story is going to be dealing with major events for the characters and the Romulans will be getting nasty.

At a guess, blood and tears will flow as rivers. Cool

Umm, sorry, RK - the Acheron question was directed directly to you.

NP. I've already stated where Acheron came from before ... I guess Reanok just forgot.

The Romulans didn't learn the wrong lesson. D'deridex did. As to what that lesson was, well...

You know the Romans used to punish centuries that retreated by decemination, where every tenth man was killed, by their comrades. Wink

I 've been busy and forgot you told me Rigil. Also I've been reading different stories of yours loking for clues. Laughing I can think of a gaelic word that fits Acheron, Hirtha a feeling of foreboding or doom of woe. A bard or druid would be sent to prophesy to a king or a warlord what fate would happen before a battle. The Celts did this before battling the Romans in Scotland. They won the Romans lost. Well the battle I read about recently.

Cause I doubted that they had any "air support" or even any artillery neary by to bring fire down on their local.

As I pointed out, though, that's only one of the uses for the "Broken Arrow" code. I think the nuclear incident terminology predates that one. I guess I could have used "Bent Spear" or "Empty Quiver", but I just liked the symbolism of a man named Archer issuing a Broken Arrow command...

..

Cool I got that. An it was neat.
But the use for the "Broken Arrow" term in a certin movie "We were Soliders", has placed this meaning for the term at the fore front of my mind above all others. An it was my intial thought. Dont worry I cought on.

Loved Dan getting to do some good. Cool
Disspite his Temp Co trying to get him out of the way. Luckly the Ignorant fool put some one experanced into Aux control.
TnT I love em. Very Happy

Damned fine movie. Have you watched the cutscenes? Specifically the lake scene where the guy tells the story about this old sergeant he used to serve under? Love that movie...

Next scene will be delayed. I'm combating an Evil Head Cold so it feels like I'm thinking through mud. I'll try to have that scene done this weekend...

Well, I have been consuming Cold-eeze in an attempt to prevent it from turning into a full blown cold ... I'll see what I can do. Maybe if everyone bombarded chrisis1033 with whiny demands that he finish my cover Twisted Evil ... nah. That'd be mean.

Well, the Cold-eeze has helped significantly...

Act 4, Scene 4 is up.

Bugging out ... with style...

Just curious. Why in the name of sanity would anyone ever prefer to read anything at ff.net when an alternative is available?

After reading it:

Oh Yeah! Bite into that, suckers! Yes!

Various reasons. A couple of people have noted that they have difficulty accessing my site for some reason, and a couple of other people have stated that the color scheme is difficult for them to read due to eye problems. Thus, I provide the alternative since I really like the color scheme that I'm using...

Here's a little parting gift far ya! Take That!

Very nice. SO... now that we've retreated, you're gonna tell us what happened to Hess, right? You didn't bump off Hess? Did ya? Ya took out Columbia - do you have to take Hess too?

At least this was a Trip scene. So you're in the clear..... for now.
