I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies -
and my Spring 2009 Senior Comprehensive Exam question (for my students) was Write a short preview article of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I included the press release!
If I must spend my weekend grading comp exams - at least I want to be entertained.

This isn't so much discussion above and beyond the comment thread, as it is a plea for you to hurry! I just started reading "The Good That Men Do" (yes, I'm behind, don't judge!), and it made me even hungrier to see what happens next in *this* story.
You got an ETA, CW?

LOL The next chapter has been moved down the list. I have to take a break from it or I'm going to get brain fried... again. I wanted to work on my sexual rather than sensual writing for a little bit and will be revising my smutty Magnetic/Christmas version collecting virtual dust. Once I get through that, Trip's chapter is next on the list.

Aquarius - Wait until you read the small but very crucial TnT plot in The Romulan War - it's like opium for TnT fans.
And I will say that CW's latest "Day in the Life" series about a Vulcan missionary and his family will tide us all over.

"Vulcan Missionary" sounds like an oxymoron to me.
I'll get to that one eventually. Too much else going on in RL right now.

And it's not missionary position we're talking about. LOL
Although, another writer and I did have an enlightening conversation about what position pon farr sex would be in. I think we decided all of them.

I had thought to title it "The Missionary's Position" but the story was meant to be completely innocent and so I decided to save that title for another story.
As for which positions during pon farr... because of the urgency I kind'a always figured it was whichever was most convenient to insert tab A into slot B.

I do wonder what would be the "normative" sexual position for Vulcans. Would they want the face to face intimacy of missionary or would they consider that vulgar since Pon Farr is supposed to be about procreation? It is a fascinating question. The concept that they could see sexual positions completely different from humans is ripe for exploration.

Well considering that Vulcans can and do have sex outside of pon farr I think it would be individual. I mean they don't think sex is bad. Its just rare to do it outside of a bond. Somehow I think that as long as a bond is in place it doesn't matter. In Pon Farr I think its about reproduction so it would instinctively ensure pregnancy.

Maybe someone should give Trip and T'Pol a copy of the Karma sutra. That has some very interesting if impossible positions.

I see TnT inventing their own.

This discussion about positions reminds me of the 5th Element Ruby Rhod "I don't want 1 position, I want all positions!"

Don't knoow if you have read the Karma Sutra or if you can get your hands on it if you haven't.
There is a discussion of types who should be together and should not be together. "Elephant man and Rabbit Woman" should not be together. "Elephant woman and Rabbit man" should not be together. I leave it to your imagination what is being referred to.
As for positions: "Woman stands, puts her foot on males forehead." think that is a bit difficult. There are other imaginative positions

Well, difficulty depends on the individual people as well. There are benefits to practicing yoga.
I wonder of neuralpressure limbers up the body?
