By using camp songs! Hey, how about a filk to the tune of "Do Your Ears Hang Low'?

Do your ears have flair?
Do they stick up in the air?
Can you hear most anything
Going on most anywhere?

If you can you might be Mestral's
Secret grandkid unaware.
Do your ears... have... flair? Very Happy

Aww man... the only camp songs I know are all gross ones or involve killing poor cute little animals. Sad

What...like "Great Green Gobs"? Hmmm.

Big blue blobs of Andor's finest bore-worm guts,
Freshly wiggling Klingon gagh,
Sehlat tongues and tribble butts,
Volumes and volumes of prime Venusian devil slime,
And me without a spoon.

But I've got a strawwwwww!! Laughing

I think "pink pajamas" is the only relatively clean one I know from my scout days, and the jodies I learned mostly involve clubbing babie seals or Bubu killing Yogi and Ranger Rick, or... well, you get the idea. Wink I guess "Tiny Bubbles" doesn't involve killing anyone or anything, but it does involve alcohol. Very Happy

How about one to the tune of "Out in the woods I met a bear?"

Love the ears filk, Dis.

What about kids' songs? Say, "The Wheels on the Bus" or "Mary Had a Little Lamb"? (Two of my roommates and closest friends are early childhood education majors, which is why I thought of it.)

Maybe I should just write a filk about how pathetic I am. Confused

"I wear my pink pajamas in the summer when it's hot,
And I wear my flannel nighties in the winter when it's not.
And sometimes in the spring time and sometime in the fall,
I jump between the sheets with NOTHING ON AT ALL!

Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, what's it to ya?
Balmy breezes blowin' through ya,
With nothing on at all!"
