Is it fair to use secondary characters???? There's a lot of 'em. If I could figure out how to do a bio on the station in "Dead Stop" I would!

I think secondary characters are fine, if it's a guessing game. (I didn't guess Dolim originally because I assumed he already had command of a ship and was basically doing what he wanted.)
Maybe with a secondary character I won't give it away to the first person who glances at it... poem to come later.

Dolim chaffed at the restrictions placed upon him by the council. No doubt in my mind he was a power hungry lizard. I look forward to your poem. Please don't say I have to do poems though. When I waas in college there was a bar in Buckhead called Poet's Corner. We thought it meant Piss On Everything Tomorrow's Friday

What you just wrote was a poem,
Weeble.

Here we go...
I wish I could meet with his approval,
Like this stubborn, odorous Human has.
And so I can only dream of being understood.
Surely I am doing his work -- our people’s work?
But with that firm rejection, doubt creeps in.
I seem to know exactly what I’m doing,
But I'm really just following in the dark.
This isn't going to stump anyone either. Sigh. I'll tell you you've got it in the morning, whoever gets here first...

I think you may have overestimated the obviousness of your contribution, Alelou.
Hmmm. It doesn't really fit my idea of her thought processes, but could it be T'Pol wanting Archer's approval in Broken Bow? I have no idea.
