Well, it didn't make the final five. Neither did either of mine. As a matter of fact, when I was trying to rank the ones that did make it, I found myself in the unenviable position of choosing the least of five evils. All five had spelling or format issues. One actually had Riker at the wheel of the truck that ran down Edith Keeler, and another one had Guinan as captain of a ship with Wesley as her first officer.
Sigh. The next round's not gonna be pretty.

LOL - I found this one fic on fanlib titled "The Borg Envasion"
I was like WTF? and I had to comment that it looks pretty silly that he or she was using a word in the title that wasn't even in the dictionary. Dude - it's "Invasion" - ain't nothing like using a spell checker, right?

Damn those Borg. Now they're fraking with our alphabet too.

I'm all out of ideas to continue this one...and there's already a round 3 entry up! What do these people do? Write one for each finalist during the voting process and then post the one that follows the winner a minute after the round opens? Hmmm. Wish I'dve thought of that.
Here's a link to the Round 2 winner, just in case anyone's interested:

Well you could always make them sing and dance. It's not gonna win you anything but it's fun!

My round 3 entry's up. I know I've used the title before, but it's appropriate. Tell me what you think.

I can't really get into it. That's not your fault, mind you, but rather the constraints of what you had to work with. I'd have
much rather read the resolution to the Borged out Guardian. What they gave you to work with this time is, frankly, pedestrian and really boring.
It's well written though.

Cool!!
See you're not out of ideas yet.
Though I agree with Rigil that I'd prefer your Borgified Guardian storyline or the other entry you recommended, I think they're like way more engaging and would make a better ground to build a scene #3 on, but oh well you got what you got, and I think you did a great job and like way elevated it from its scene #2 staleness.
I still wish I could make the Borg sing and dance though. Grumble grumble.

Do it anyway,
T. As indicated by the frankly stale "winners", they really need someone like you to shake things up.

Like their mechanic little Borg booties?
(poor Rigil's gonna get an aneurism
)
Oh. Sudden brainfart.
I'm starting to get like images of the Borg vs. Species 8472 as a Broadway stage production.
