KTR, Yeah his eyes bugged out of his head, and he liked her sass but as for a relationship romantic or otherwise, I don't think he thought about it until Mal brought a hypothetical thing between him and T'Pol up.

To be honest, I don't think he thought in relationship terms until sometime in season 3. But he was surely attracted and intrigued by her way before that, even before Mal's bum comment. What Mal's comment brought up though, was Trip's more conscious admission that she is indeed a beautiful woman. Methinks he doth protest too much in that scene.

And yes she's got a nice bum WE KNOW! Men...

I've never particularly enjoyed watching tennis either, but I know women who sigh over manly tennis stars (especially their thighs) far worse than I've ever sighed over Trip. They have their Internet boards too, and travel the globe to see each other and get together to watch and obsessively discuss the objects of their affection. And frankly, given that tennis stars are real actual people with their own private lives instead of characters in a TV show, I find it a little freaky. No doubt poor CT gets freaked out by fans who love Trip and by extension are fascinated with him (or so I assume by his need for a good stiff drink before he faces them), but imagine there is no Trip, it's just plain Connor suffering all the wacky attention. That would have to be worse, wouldn't it?

Heck yes I never equate actors wit the parts they play that is so not right. Anyway I mentioned tennis because I used to love to play as a kid. Health problems stopped that, but watching it I'd rather die. Besides I like a man's shoulders and back muscles not thighs. CT has an awfully nice spine, as good as JB's bum.

Took me awhile to decide Trip was a hottie, though. It was his personality that attracted me at first. I tend to go more for tall, dark and brooding. Mulder, for example. Or my hubby.

I can see that happening! I just watched "Two Days and Two Nights" And all of the scenes of Malcolm and Trip at the club made me think of Miami Vice. They were trying to be all smooth and suave and they totally BOMBED... How did Malcolm get so many women on Earth, how does Trip seduce all of those aliens? Because when they try it's just so sweetly pathetic.
