WOOOO! NO SURGERY FOR CHRISTINA!
HUGE sigh of relief!!!
Talked to ped. cardiologist this morning. He consulted w/the surgeons and they agreed that the hole's closed enough not to be a concern, and that although her heart is slightly enlarged, we'll just be monitoring her.
Thank you all for the good vibes and well wishes!

Yeah! Woot! Surgery would have been hard to explain to a little girl. I remember how relieved I was when my grown son avoided knee surgery. I guess we can multiply that relief X50 and get your relief.

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.
But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Wonderful news what a relief it is for you that she doesn't need heart surgery.

Great stuff
Caring for a medical border-line case myself (Vivendi, my horse, is pregnant at a rather old age of 16 for the first time) I can relate to the sleepless nights that the worry about a beloved companion can give you. I'm very glad that everything worked out for you and your pet

They do seem like pets sometimes when they're little, don't they? Feed them... water them... clean up their little poopies. But pets don't argue with you when it's time to go to bed.

Trust me, Vivendi demands a whole lotta more than feeding and watering She's crapped all over northrhine-westphalia by now. But the prospect of having a baby horse lets me forget all the sleepless nights on foal watch, all the days of worry. Last week I spent a whole night in the hay. She just needs someone nearby. If that means me sleeping in a small hay-covered box - so be it
And no, Vivendi doesn't argue when it's time to hit the sack. I eigther agree or my face meets a steel horse shoe. *BAM*
