I watched a very condensed version of John Morabito's experience as a New York City firefighter in the 9-11-2001 attack on the World Trade Center - first on a Biography Channel special called "Beyond: Messages From 9-11" last night, then seen some additional footage from the Oprah Winfrey Network's show, "Miracle Detectives - Miracles Of 9-11" show tonight; (both were part of their channel's tributes to the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks). Anyway, I was so impressed by Mr. Morabito's story, I went hunting on YouTube to see if anyone had put it up there - and I found the entire interview Randall Sullivan did with him for Oprah's network on YouTube (only about 1/3rd or 1/4th of this was actually broadcasted on TV by either OWN or the Biography Channel). I have to warn you, it is horribly gruesome to listen to, but I was totally blown away by his encounter with the supernatural on 9-11 - and between reading/watching as much about the paranormal as I do (as a New Age-r, I'm fascinated by it), while I'm still somwhat skeptical about the subject, and all I can say about his experience is, it's incredible and I can sure see why both Oprah and the Biography Channel wanted to include his story in their 9-11 tributes.

(Note: while he attributes what happens to him as God's intervention, I'm not trying to espouce religion here, I just think his story is (while a gruesome account of 9-11), still a fascinating case study for paranormal research and I was so impressed by it, it really qualifies as a YouTube I just have to share with the world (or at least with those who share my fascination with the paranormal).
