Red Dwarf Very Happy

I've attempted giving the "Rimmer Salute" to my husband once. Didn't work to well, I guess. I watched too much of the show that I still sputter out Brittish slang all the time. Git, Goit, Loo, etc...

Smegmolith Very Happy

Smeg- isn't exactly a made up word as much as it is... a medical... vulgarity. Laughing Upchuck

My friend Allen taught me "smegmolith" long before I saw Red Dwarf. Before RD, hardly anyone knew what it meant. Very Happy

Frak has replaced the other F word a lot of times in my vocabulary. I actually swear sometimes in three different languages in one sentence.

Not space lingo, I know, but I was visiting my sister this weekend.
She: when did you start saying "meh?"
Me: I don't know
She: Well stop it!

I was playing Word Whomp, a spelling game I'm addicted to, and put in 'dren' because I've seen people here use it (mostly T'Poparts). Unsurprisingly, it didn't go in.

Well, I am a bookworm player - way too much. You'd think with alll the time I've put in I'd be better at it. I'm mystified when I think about the words it will and won't accept. It won't accept the f-word, of course, but it will accept a couple of Elizabethan words that mean the same thing. Go figure.

I found myself this morning using a TnT-English word (Tuckerisch English?), a word i learned while reading tnt fic, to my guy, while talking Dutch saying to stop smirking, because he was very amused that i had lost the house keys this time...
Smirking (did i spell that correctly, my dictonary seems to have moved to unknown places), just a very nice tnt word, like musing, bemused...I can become very enthousiastic about certain words, because i just like the sound of it. Weird, i know... Confused
