You mean the second goal by the Britisch that was clearly a goal and the referee said not. Even German soccer experts said it was a goal. Big mistake by the referee.

As of yesterday, we're out of it (U.S.), but U.S. is apparently equal to England (we tied), so Germany is apparently 4X better than both of us (4 to 1?). YIKES! I should watch that game on streaming video.

In the 1966 final the english 'scored' a similar goal, except in contrast to today it wasn't a goal. They got an illegal goal in 1966 and lost a legal one today uz germanz got wet pantz, serves them right !.

Germany got screwed good on what was a goal. the Ball bounced of the top bar and inside the line so it was a goal but it was disalllowed by the referee. The Brits claimed that it wasn't (naturally). That was the World cup where a young Franz Beckenbauer and almost the entire Bayern Muenche team was representing Germany.

England had a pretty good team to. Hell of a great final but Germany should have won it.

Hmm, memory must be faulty. It was a goal by England that wasn't? That was 43 years ago and I was 31 at the time.

Slightly wrong SB It was actually a hit by Geoff Hurst, which hit ther bar and was marginally outside, but was given as the 3-2 for England by the Russian linesman. They were gifted one then and were robbed one today. What goes around, comes around.. Germany is at rest
