Spontaneous Conversation thread
Since the previous thread is now gone, here's a new one.
And I made my teenage Soma t-shirt today. Took me a few days to find a white t-shirt that was 50/50 cotton/polyester. For some dumb reason, all the local stores only sold plain t-shirts that were either 100% cotton or else 95% cotton and 5% spandex. The only one I found that was 50/50 mix had a pocket. Ended out having to go to a craft store to find a shirt I could use...
It looks very nice, actually. Only 52 days til the cruise...

Was this the army that invaded your country, ma'am? No, officer, they were taller than that...
How about this one? I'm not sure--get them to march up and down a bit...

Re: Spontaneous Conversation thread
And we have all lost our post counts, so I guess we are all busted down to cadet or whatever, LOL. How about giving ourselves all a reason that fits with something we did wrong on Enterprise? We could be real creative like the thread where we all decided which position we wanted on the ship.
Here's mine. I was busted down from commander to cadet because I borrowed the Captain's dog to service my miniature pet sehlat. My pet, being on the ship, could not be taken home to answer the call of her mate. And now, the Captain has lost his pet because Porthos has bonded with my pet and won't be separated from her. He bit the Captain's hand when the Captain tried to take Porthos back to his quarters. Half an hour later I was a cadet again.

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

I was busted down to cadet again because I accidentally overloaded the ship's BBS system with a lot of spam!
She's got an awfully nice bum!

I gave the captain a swim in the waste water tank . He deserved it for making a move on T'Pol.

Re: Spontaneous Conversation thread
Naturally I have to work history into mine (12 days to graduation!):
The Chief Engineer and Armory Officer were having a heated discussion over the relative contributions of the Americans and British during WWII, when I pointed out that it was really Soviet Russia who won the war, and the US and UK just helped win it faster. During my attempt at a quick retreat out of the mess hall, I ran into the Captain, who fell on top of a visiting dignitary and broke two of the dignitary's ribs, severely straining relations and ruining the dignitary's career, because politicians have to be "physically untainted" - one injury and it's all over.

I stole Phlox's Pyrithian bat and let it loose in Engineering. It ate circuits - the darn critter eats anything - and Enterprise dropped out of warp. I became the Chief Engineer next target and he chased me through the corridors until I ran into the Captain who was also mad at me because he'd been thrown out of his chair and landed in the Science Officer's lap. He was rather stiff in the neck because said Science Officer nerve pinched him. I barely escaped and the Captain and the Chief Engineer collided. Both ended with broken limbs in sickbay. Then, the bat found the Armory and I had to escape the wrath of the Security Officer. He wanted to tie me to one of his beloved torpedoes. I finally caught the bat and brought it back to sickbay, only to find myself in front of a very irate Vulcan, who logically busted me down to cadet.

Re: Spontaneous Conversation thread
Good! Because I just came to change my story.
When Trip taught the cogentitor to read, I was all for that. Then the cogenitor learned to write, and so being so impressed with Trip, of course he/she immediately started writing Trip/Cogenitor/T'Pol stories and posting them under the name "Charles." When people went and asked Trip, what the heck? he explained what he knew and the whole story came out--and they learned I was the beta. I got in trouble not only with the Vissians and Star Fleet, but ironically also with those radical fundamentalist T'nT 'shippers.
SIGH!!!!

Hmmm. That was most peculiar, JustTrip'n.
If you'll notice...I was never an officer, just a philanthropist, so I never got busted. Ha!
