Eww. Confused

Nah. She'd just kick my ass out of here. She hates me. Well no surprise because everyone does. Sad

Dude. Seriously. Why else would people treat me like I'm some dog-poo they stepped in? Confused

Generally we get the kind of treatment we expect. You might be sending out unconscious "kick me" signals without realizing it. Have you considered that you might be your own worst enemy sometimes? Try finding a counselor to talk to about this. Seriously. Poor self esteem can drag you down and become a self fulfilling prophesy.

Self Esteem

^^ I also agree. I struggle with the same issues. And it does feel like you're born with a "Kick Me" sign on your back.

This is interesting (from Distracted's link)

Low Self-Esteem

Childhood experiences that lead to low self-esteem include-

  • being harshly criticized

  • being yelled at, or beaten

  • being ignored, ridiculed or teased

  • being expected to be "perfect" all the time

  • experiencing failures in sports or school

People with low self-esteem were often given messages that failed experiences (losing a game, getting a poor grade, etc.) were failures of their whole self.

It just reminded me of some of our favorite Star Trek characters...

T'Poptarts, here's a scout song site. See if you can spot the Star Trek filk that's made it into the official list of scout songs! (Here's a hint...It's about TOS.)

Cool, I guess if I ever get back into scouting again I'll have some more kiddie appropriate ones now. Very Happy Still, most of 'em are pretty weak even for the tastes I had as a scout. Twisted Evil

What would be kinda scary is if my take on "Pink Pajamas" made it into an official scout song list. Twisted Evil

Hey here's an idea... let's start "Trek Scouts" Very Happy and then all the camp songs would be Trek related Mr. Green

Only when we can do a field trip to Vulcan. Lemme see...is it 2063 when the Vulcans get here? I'll only be 99 years old. I'll be troop leader. By that time I'll be ready to get off this planet. Laughing
