Well, Escriba, I haven't gotten anything done since you presented your gifts. Of course I had to watch the trailer like a hundred times, then post it everywhere I could think of. Not done yet. It's now in the introduction of chapter 1 of "Brainstorm" and in the introduction to the "Epilogue about Lorian."

You can put the trailer in the archive pages, I don't care. How it works if we host it is, Escriba's gotta get me the video somehow (provide me a list of links I can Right Click + Save As, that'll be fine. Sorry but I don't know which ones work and which ones lead to 'exceeded bandwidth' warnings right now, my brain's kinda like a scrambled egg on crack. ) So just send those to me and I'll get em uploaded onto Tris and then we'll link em wherever we want and the links will be like blah blah blah triaxiansilk.com/fancreations/escriba/trailers probably sounds like a good directory.

As far as what'll happen when you click them versus right click + save as, it depends on how your browser is setup. If you've got your IE or Firefox setup to stream videos in the browser, then clicking it will actually play it. That's fine, it uses more bandwidth if you watch it 84 bajillion times like JT has, lol, but it doesn't really matter much. We have 984 bajillion megabyte per month of bandwidth so it's fine. If you don't have your browser setup to stream videos online, then I'm pretty sure left clicking them will do the same as right click + save as and force you to just download and save the video anyway.

Right now, any of the links works, but just to make sure, use the secondary links, you just need to normal click on them and you go to the page where there is the link to download it (I think 4shared is more prepared for these things ).

-Elessar, the Mighty Owner of this site, might wonder "And my trailer, you ungrateful witch?" I wanted to make a trailer for your great story "Bloodlines-Telluride", but I simply can't (too complicated for me). But look, look! You have something nobody else have: a teaser trailer (Escriba puts the link and runs for her life).

-Asso's trailer is a little special. Since his stories appeal to our emotions, I've made a trailer that try to convey my emotions about his story. That's why he has opera. I chose Alelou's music specifically too, because no other thing seemed to work. The rest of the authors have crappy trailer music

-People that dont' have a trailer mustn't think that I didn't like their stories. There are different reasons why I couldn't make them: because I didn't read them, or because even if I liked the story very much I don't know how to make a trailer of it, or even cases like Rainbow Lady (her Switcheroo series) or JadziaKathryn (Z'Val) whose stories are technically impossible for me. And then there is Distracted, who has written so many stories that I can't choose one.

-CX, to tell you the truth, I wanted to make a trailer for "Foundations", but I have some technical problems with the sound of my AVI files, so I couldn't. Here is the music, if you want, you can listen to it an imagine a great trailer with all the epic and such (Escriba runs for her life again).

-Blacknblue, I would have loved to put V'Lar in your trailer, but I don't have her episode

-JustTrip'n, I really wanted to make another type of trailer for you, but my skills are what they are I really hope you like it, this is the least thing I can do after all your help

Of course, authors don't have to like my trailers, but I hope they do By the way, they're a gift, so each author can do whatever s/he wants with it (post it in other site, burn it... anything )

Of course, any person (not just the authors) can make commentaries and even vote for their favorite

I'm really glad that my little project worked. Although I feel a little guilty for the people that doesn't have a trailer (so I'm thinking in doing more, even if I don't know how ) Anybody is free to make proposals.

Finally I got the time to watch the trailers and I say nothing new, but there are really very good! Even without music (and I know this from personal experience, the soundsystems on my computer are still not working )
BTW, is there going to be a special place for trailers on TRIS, maybe under Fan art?
