Right. Equal opportunities.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.
But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

I dunno. He's lean and defined, sure. But I've seen better.
I've met the man and watched (too many) hours of the character and I have to say that although he IS physically attractive his facial expressions and mannerisms appeal to me more than his body does. Does that make sense? A still photo doesn't do him justice.

I still say that Conner looks better than Scott. HIs body is more defined and Scotts body is flat muscled. Why don't you run a comparison

Conner's a decade younger than Scott. To compare apples to apples you'd have to find a picture of Scott in his 30's. I remember a very nice Bakula underwear ad from the 90's. Although you really couldn't see his chest musculature. Too much fur.

Re: Muscled Chief Engineer Chests (and other things)
Makes sense to me. I fell for his personality and those wonderfully mobile expressions before I fell for his looks. Honestly, I think CT is attractive, but nothing too extraordinary just in terms of looks -- not my usual idea of a hottie, anyway. And while I also think that his musculature is nice, especially those shoulders, this photo really doesn't do his face any favors.
Bakula, IMO, has a rather plain face but a nice body. Again, with him, it's more a matter of enjoying his personality, but I've never gotten to the point of considering him particularly attractive, maybe because I never fell in love with Archer the way I did with Trip.
I kind of like that ordinary-ness about both of them, though. There are too many beautiful people on American TV.

If you want to do a comparison, see "Dessert Crossing." Mmm, mmm. Absolutely nothing wrong with either of them as they play alien lacrosse.
Having said that, yes, I really did fall in love with the personality of Trip first--the cockiness and the kind, open heart. I can even remember briefly thinking (must have been part one of the the first episode, lol . . .), "Oh good, he's not my type. I can watch this without developing a huge crush on the main character."

Re: Muscled Chief Engineer Chests (and other things)
Oh, sure, his personality is great, no argument there...but I for one have never been one for muscle-heads, so a lot of women's "I've seen better" doesn't do much for me. I like physiques that look more like they could've come from hard work vs. hours of daily workouts.
So Trip's body works just fine for me.

Re: Muscled Chief Engineer Chests (and other things)
The man is textbook of my type PERIOD. However I like Robbie McNiell's face better. Who am I kidding? 80's Frakes (sans beard) Robbie McNeill and Conner are just plain georgeous and trust me I would have a VERY hard time choosing between them. Still I gotta say although those three are absolutely yummy, their intelligence, talent, and personalities are the true testiment to their appeal. So even if they were "average" I'd still probably fall for all 3.

Some of these people haven't taken their medication. Let's see what happens now...

I didn't say Conner was average, I said even if Conner, 80's Frakes, and McNeill were average. I'd still be extremely attracted to them. BUT THEY ARE NOT! So much the better.

Re: Muscled Chief Engineer Chests (and other things)
This just proves that beauty is, as always, in the eye of the beholder ... and that someone we don't initially find beautiful can improve on us with time. I once had a prof. I thought looked like a scrawny gargoyle. I couldn't take my eyes off the aesthetic disaster of his face the way you can't avoid looking at an accident scene. Eventually, though, I developed a crush on him, complete with embarrassing blushing and the whole thing. Just because he was a great guy.
