StarTrek magazine Vulcan issue

Postby Reanok » Mon Aug 09, 2010 3:19 pm

This week StarTrek magazine is coming out with a special magazine that's all about Vulcans. Soval and T'Pol are on the cover with other Vulcans. It's supposed to come out on August 10.I liked the old Communicator magazines that used to be issue all about Vulcans & Romulans and the differences in their cultures.

I would guess a bookstore or newsstand, but here's a preview. Awesome exclusive comic shop cover, don't you think? Love the cover model. I wonder what demographic they're going after with that one?

Distracted, that link you posted. I clicked on it. I got this You have won.. and it grabbed my computer. I tried to get rid of it by clicking on the Red X in the upper right hand corner but the thing would not relese my computer or go. I finally managed to sever the internet connection. got back on te internet and ran a complete scan for any virus or Trojan. That link I believe is a bit dangerous. Maybe just for me but I have run into these things before which is why I usually don't click on links.

I went to Barnes and Noble today to get it and they didn't have it yet, even though it's supposed to be on the stands today. :-x

I was waiting for the magazine to come in the mail i was hoping it would come today.Hopefully it will come in the mail next week.Unfortunately when it comes to Startrek magazines coming out on a certain date at Barnes & noble it's usually not the exact date advertised in the magazine.I've gone to the store to look for it and they don't have it or it's sold out.

I am an idiot! I'm going to NY today... I'll go to the bookstore with Grandma and get a copy! That way she can't force me to allow her to buy me clothes! Because I really don't want her picking clothes for me.

The link works fine for me, SB. Do you have your popup blocker enabled? I keep mine on to prevent stuff like that. I've also got Avast and Spy Sweeper running to protect my computer. So far nothing bad has gotten through. Maybe you should talk to your local tech person and ask them how to protect your computer from malware and such.
