Ok, now I'm officially confused

Just a few hours ago you sent an email to me that you were too busy to look at stories atm, yet you post three new ones shortly after.

Is there anything that adds operational overhead to stories that are posted in OpenOffice odt-format? If so, maybe it would help telling people so we can convert them to .doc format before submitting. That would ease your workload and would reduce the waiting time before publishing for authors.

I'm not too busy to look at stories, Kotik. I just have limited free time. Yours is in the queue. I'll get to it eventually. Please be patient. Four authors have submitted chapters to four different stories in the past three days - this is in addition to the ongoing chapters from the two stories I've been posting over the past couple of weeks. I've already pre-read Eireann's and Lt. Jebkanto's chapters so they take less than a minute to post each. The others require time to read and for me to do a final edit. I'm doing my best.

I understand that. I merely wanted to know if converting to .doc would speed up the process. I'll be honest here. Posting times on TriS have been measured in geological terms until about a year ago, so when you sent me that email, I was expecting something like a two weeks delay. You're doing a fine job of it in comparison. BTW. The final edit bit intrigues me. To what extent do you edit submissions?
