Summary: Here’s a poetry challenge I resurrected from the HoT poetry thread. One of us selected a word or topic and then wrote one poem each from Trip's POV and T'Pol's POV about that topic. They could be short or long... any style... and from any point in their lives (even from before they met each other) as long as both of them were alive, of course. (So I guess we can't have a poem written by T'Pol at age 10 because Trip isn't born yet.)
Anybody want to give it a try?

French fries are a crunchy treat.
Fun to dip and fun to eat.
Vulcans hate them, so they say.
I still love them anyway.

"french fry" (American English-noun) or "chip" (British English-noun) : a cut portion of the tuberous root Solanum tuberosum, generally prepared by immersing in boiling vegetable oil until crisp and brown, and eaten with the fingers. Its palatability and nutritional value may be improved by immersing it in a sauce made from the fruit of the Solanum lycopersicum, a closely related perennial plant.

there was a time:
it was so beautiful it could have been a song. it made me cry a little.
"The Foo-ball" is fantastic! It's perfectly Suess-esque and just delightful.
