when i see the stars streak by the
window, the relativistic speeds of your love
and mine
separated by light years by your choice
not mine
makes me sick to my stomach and all i can
do is hold on to what we had once and won't have
probably ever again,
because you're gone and all i have is a shadow inside
the glowing whiteness of my mind

there was a time:
it was so beautiful it could have been a song. it made me cry a little.
"The Foo-ball" is fantastic! It's perfectly Suess-esque and just delightful.
