Re: As a reader % drives me nuts!
Technically you can submit stuff to The Guardian of Forever on SciFi-Online.org, but since no one has done so for a very long time, I don't check the submission email very often, and it'd probably be a while before I could get it up on the website.

Re: Trip's Parents
Probably enough people have written fan fiction along those lines (myself included) that people have that idea in their heads. And it's not like Trip talked about his family very much on the actual show.

Re: Your other fandoms & 'ships?
I'm mostly just an anime nerd now, and don't really have any 'ships anymore.

Seriously, could an Admin PM me about this? Are there any active admins left here?

Changing names in an old thread
I was wondering who I'd talk to about possibly changing the names in the descriptions of the episodes listings in my old Foundations thread. I've had an old staff member write me and ask to have his name replaced with a pen name, and I've decided to take on a pen name myself. This would be somewhat ...

Man at Arms
Anyone else watch this YouTube channel at all? It's all about making swords and other weapons, mostly from movies, anime, and video games from viewer requests. Channel link There's also some cosplay stuff and some other stuff, but I mostly watch for the Man at Arms stuff. Here are a few of my favori...

Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist (12 episode series) This is by no means "The Anime to Save Anime" that at one point many fans claimed it to be, but it is a fun satirical look at censorship culture and the effects it might have if carried out to its...

Re: CX anime reviews
I've been thinking of starting a video review series for a while now, and while it will still be quite some time before I can actually start on it, I figure it doesn't really hurt to get some ideas going for it. First up, should I keep the anime and movie reviews separate, or should I make an all-en...

Patlabor: The TV Series (47 episode series) I had originally planned to watch this series after watching the original OVA and the first movie, but my anime group voted to watch it so I ended up watching this series first out of the franchise. From what I can gleam from reading about it, this doesn'...

H20: Footprints in the Sand (12 episode series) I honestly can't remember how this one ended up on my watch list, and now that I've seen it, I'm not quite sure what to make of it. It's essentially a fairly typical harem anime, with the typical silliness and, for me, eye-rolling shenanigans that one...

Venus Wars (1989 movie) One of the things about sci-fi, particularly older sci-fi, is that there tends to be a rather iconic mode of transportation associated with it, whether it's the Enterprise , a DeLorean DMC-12, a phone booth, or a police box, there just tended to be that kind of an associatio...

Lily C.A.T. (Single episode OVA) This OVA is very much a product of its time – that time being the late 1980s. I say that, because it’s very obviously influenced by two very influential movies that came out in the decade prior to this OVA’s release (1987) – Alien and The Thing . Having seen both of...

Princess Jellyfish (11 episode series) I’m not sure what it is about shows like this that get so many of my fellow nerds excited. That’s not to say that I don’t like seeing shows about other nerds, as I liked Otaku no Video (come to think of it I should probably write a review for that show at some...

Blade of the Immortal (13 episode series) While somewhat interesting to watch, and featuring fairly complex characters and ideas, I’d say that I found this series to be disappointing more than anything else. As the title suggests, it follows the exploits of a man who cannot die, or at least is very...
