Re: June '09 Word Prompt

I wrote a little thing, it's very little and rather stupid, but everytime I hear the word regret, Frank Sinatra's "My Way" pops into my mind and can't have another more intelligent idea. REGRETS T’Pol let her eyes rest on her husband. Sitting on a couch with a scotch on the rocks in the sh...

Re: Your other 'ships!

I didn't ship anyone until I was quite old- and found out it's called shipping even later. It started with Juan del Diablo & Monica de Altamira from Corazon Salvaje (yes, a telenovela, but what a good one), Aragorn and Arwen, John Thornton and Margaret Hale from North and South, Shep and Weir fr...

Re: Finally! Some information about Connor's Sci-Fi movie...

I haven't seen it and I'm not sure I'll ever manage to, but I believe this was not a role that fits CT, he doesn't have the action hero looks. I think that he would have been much better in a drama, even a not very good one.

Re: Trip's Mistakes

He was certainly not very nice, but it's only normal cos he's only human, not a saint. We can not expect Trip to be always perfect, loving, trusting , he should have a bad day once every now and then. I suppose this lack of trust was supposed to show that they had problems of communication, probably...

Re: Stargate Atlantis

I loved SGA for the first three seasons. Then, after they killed Weir, I completely lost interest. It seems I was shipping Shep-Weir more intensely than I thought :( I believe it was a series that started very well and went downwards, slowly but steadily. In my opinion, as the seasons passed, the wr...

Re: Archer - Dweeb or Hero?

You are sure that your compatriot was wrong Asso? War is bad because it makes you do bad things. If it was polite and clean and you played by the rules it would be an athletic game. I don't believe that ever in history a war was won nicely. And calling Archer a pirate yes, but a war criminal? In rea...

Re: Archer - Dweeb or Hero?

I completely agree with you about Cogenitor but not so much about the Xindi episodes. Archer did some condemnable things there, but he had to. He could not wait for bad guys to appear and he had to use Hoshi, even if she was going to die. He had Earth to save and I understand him. What would have be...

You must be right then and I feel better for all the Vulcan brides

Re: Rajin & Similitude

Isn't the idea of Vulcan women becoming property of their husbands very illogical? Property means lack of free will and, in fact, being a slave. I had forgotten the use of this word and I hope it was just T'Pau using wrong English...

Re: Abrams Trek review thread *HEAVY SPOILERS*

Well, Nero did have 25 years to fix his ship. I think George Kirk's death did a couple things: established this was an AU and gave Kirk a reason for a troubled childhood, as well as giving Kirk a reason to recognize that Vulcan was under attack. thanks, you cleared things a bit  I feel rather...
