Re: Fancy meeting YOU here!

I watch now " Leverage " on TV in Russian and watched it on DVD in English (I could understand only one third without announced subtitles :banghead: ) Brent Spiner was a guest star in the episode "The Juror #6 Job". I saw him only in "Star Trek" before and was pleasantl...

Re: Avatar *Here there be spoilers*

I did watch it again, but with my parents. My dad is going deaf and won't admit it so my mom spent most of the movie repeating dialogue to him. It was okay, but I was too worried about making sure my dad understood what was going on to really enjoy it the second time. And the first time wonder wasn...

Re: Avatar *Here there be spoilers*

I watched Avatar yesterday in IMAX. It was a nice experience. There were no heads of the neighbours before me. The details were huge. I even looked at nipples and saw them at men. But my first watch this movie left the lingering impression of the awe. Now I was only pleased from watching the thrilli...

Re: The Whine thread.

My Russian teacher used to teach us about culture once in awhile. I remember her talking about Russia (today) like it was 19th century England. Or that's how it sounded like... I kind of got the impression she was romanticizing it a little much. She made it sound like you just walk into your neighb...

Re: Status and Support

I just thought of something... Because the way the archives is set up e-mails might be a good idea. Someone like me who is at the BOTTOM of the list, (should have thought of that when I chose my name) is less likely to get a ton of traffic AFTER a post is off the main page. Someone like wonderful B...

Re: The Whine thread.

Unfortunately Russia like to be VERY complicated. But lovely Ludmila has been so generous to help me out. I'm closer to finding what I need. I'm beginning to think a private dinner with the enitre family is unknown... Not good for my story unfortunately. No, private dinners took place but I must fi...

Re: Status and Support

I try usually not simply left some words but share something positive inside me with the author. If I am sad or annoyed I can read some story but I will not leave any feedback because my mood can change my message. And I leave usually the reviews only on the new for me stories which were posted not ...

Re: YouTubes You Just Have to Share With the World...

It is impressive  and dizzy a little 8) . I liked the feeling of the great emptiness of the space. Aureilia likes to scream with me as it goes out, and then scream again as it goes in. Like a ride. It is very good when there is a good occasion for a laugh or scream! It is in...

Re: Randomness

If I didn't have to go to work in the morning I would automatically revert to a night person. I remember a period some years ago when I woke up 4pm or 5pm and go to sleep in the morning and it suited me fine. It is my regime now, while I have a vacation and decided to stay at home. I love the quiet...

Re: Military Knowledge

Cossack's involvement was strong in that time. They participated later in our Civil War (1917-1922) on the both sides. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cossack My mother's mother was Don Cossack. Her parents perished early and she with her sister was brought up in the orphanage. As a result I am not sur...
