Because I am too lazy to research it...
And because someone might just know this off the top of their head, does anyone know how many years T'Pol had been working on Earth at the start of the Star Trek: Enterprise series?

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Re: Because I am too lazy to research it...
Mh ... the only answer I can give is the one that I have given me by myself in "Shore Leave".
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

From Memory Alpha:
In 2149, T'Pol was assigned to Earth, both as an ambassador to the United Earth government and as an aide to Ambassador Soval. She resided in the Vulcan Compound in Sausalito, where she formed a strong working relationship with Soval. Like him, she believed that Humans were too "volatile" and "provincial" to leave their solar system. (ENT: "Fusion", "The Expanse")

Re: Because I am too lazy to research it...
I'm working on revising a story and I keep getting stuck on little details. One of them is what to call the shirt that Trip wears under his jumpsuit. I've always thought of it as a henley. Memory Alpha calls it a mock turtleneck but that doesn't seem quite right to me.
My other uniform question is about trousers. I know there are uniform trousers but do they wear them under the jumpsuit. You wouldn't do that with a Navy or Air Force flight suit (the closest real world analogy I know of) but the Memory Alpha article seemed to imply that they were worn under the Starfleet jumpsuit.
Any information you can give me would be much appreciated.

As for the first question, I think you're right.
Regarding the second question, I do not know.
One should see Trip while wearing them.
But it seems excessive to me that one has to wear so much stuff.

Re: Because I am too lazy to research it...
Personally I'd describe the undershirt as a high-collared henley.
The issue about the trousers - I can't see the point of wearing these under a jumpsuit. In addition, if they were in use I'd suggest that when Trip gets dumped into the swamp with Princess Kaitaama in 'Precious Cargo' and uses his jumpsuit to dress a 'dummy' of himself, if he had trousers under them he'd still be wearing them, rather than strolling around in his blues - as befits the behaviour of a Southern gentleman in the presence of a lady.
Just a thought...

Thanks, Asso and Eireann. It makes more sense for me for Trip not to be wearing trousers under the jumpsuit. I'll go with that.

A Henley buttons at the neck. A mock turtleneck doesn't.

Good point. The pictures I've been looking at don't have enough resolution, but I think the shirt has buttons.

After consulting my multitude of screenshots I can confirm the shirt definitely has buttons!

Re: Because I am too lazy to research it...
I'm working on a missing scene for "The Expanse." I'm trying to make sure my timeline fits into the episode. I've looked at a script, at the entry in Memory Alpha and at the novelization of the episode. All I've figured out is that Archer makes a log entry about their return trip to Earth on April 24. Maybe that's all that is established and I'm worrying too much.
I'd like to get a better feel for how long it was after the attack that: (a) Archer was informed about the attack, (b) Enterprise returned to Earth, (c) Trip and Malcolm went to Florida, (d) Enterprise left for the Expanse. If you have any thoughts on that, please share them.
