Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
Thanks, HopefulR.
Reanok,
I have downloaded Windmills to the mihd site. The address which HopefulR said I should save is the following: http://mihd.net/g9f783 so I assume it is the download address.
If it works, please let me know and I will upload the other two when I get back from my conference.
just in case, the filename I had for it was windmills.avi

Do you mean the MiHD site, Reanok? If so...
Click on the link - for example, dialee's link http://mihd.net/g9f783 for "Windmills."
You'll get a new page. At the upper left you'll see "Request Download Link." Click on that.
Another new page! Now, at the upper right, you'll see "Download File." That's the actual video file. Right-click on that link to open a "Save As" dialog box and save the file on your computer.
Sometimes this site goes down for a bit and I get an error page, but if that happens, wait a little while and then check back.
If you mean the snapdrive site, the process is simpler. The link I posted here, for "You Raise Me Up" for example, is the video file itself. All you need to do is right click on that link to save it.
BUT if the bandwidth for the day has been met or exceeded for my little freebie account, you'll probably get some kind of error message and you'll need to wait until midnight for the bandwidth counter to reset.
I hope that helps with whatever problems you've been having. Try not to get stressed over computer phoo, hon. At least we know the videos aren't lost and gone forever.

Ohhhh, I found the error message. I lacked a codec, whatever that is. If I clicked on the right links, it might work now... we'll see.

Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
I just got a mesage from Realplayer for a security patch apparently someone hacked the media player and it's vulnerable to spyware, worms and viruses I updated the patch it says Wandering is on my video playlist but still won't play it.
i feel like I'm cursed or something. I've wanted to watch these TnT videos for so long I'm really bummed out about this.

Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
Try uninstalling and reinstalling RealPlayer. Or just get Windows Media Player.

Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
I have windows mediaplayer it won't play avi files because I can't find the plugins for avi as I said i feel like I'm cursed.

Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
Better try getting DivX then, even if it takes you all day to download, it'll be worth it, because you can actually use it to suppliment WMP and/or RealPlayer.
Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
I already tried that it didn't work.dialup times out.6 hours trying to download it takes too long.Looks like I'm out of luck.

then you should get a torrent handler like Azureus and find a DivX torrent on one of the many torrent websites
at least then if your dial-up times out you can start the download from where it left off
Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
I think i found way to maybe fix the Real mediaplayer to play videos and the connections to not time out I hope.

Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
I hope you get your Real player to work, Reanok, because the .avi files are the best version of Ligeia's videos. If not, I have figured out how to make .wmv versions. The frame size will be smaller (and the file size will still be pretty huge), but the quality will still be high.
Re: Ligeia's Trip & T'Pol musicvideos
wmv files that are smaller work better when I play Realplayer than avi the larger files just don't want to play like they should. It has something to do with the videostreaming according to the help guide on their site the connections for larger videos can get them to really slow down and the time it takes when you download them on dial up can cause them to act jerky & funny.
