One thing I have never could understand, about the bond was if it was so strong how come T'Pol didn't know that Trip wasn't really died? I'm mean from what I understand about the bond she would know that he was alive, right?

I quess thats why I never really understood "if" they really had a bond the first place, due if it was that strong to protect him from the Orion, then how come she didn't know that he wasn't really died? :? :? :?

She did suspect that he was alive (TGTMD), and these suspicions were confirmed when they made love in white space (The shuttlepod scene)

I think that's one of the reasons why everyone feels "The Abomination" was so manhandled. The novels did try to reconcile it, but honestly, if you want to believe Trip and T'Pol can have a Happily Ever After, they'll be somewhat less than satisfying, too, for reasons I won't go into due to spoiler action. You're probably better off believing (as many do) that TnT's canon story ends with "Terra Prime," and leave the possibilities beyond that open to your imagination.
