    Yes you're right he was all of that, but most women don't mean Cary's looks when they say men should try to aspire to him. The fact is he and 99% of his characters listened, and paid attention to women. That is a gigantic thing to a woman. Is Strawberries and Champange masculane? Not really, although even men say it's pretty declicious. But the thing is it makes us women happy. And when a men listens to that it's sexy. Except if a girl's allergic to strawberries or chocolate, a man has to listen to know that too. Still I won't be writing it any time soon.

Found it! Unspoken by Allison Dobell

Thank you, Evcake. I'll have to check that out soon. Allison Dobell certainly can get the ol' blood circulating. (Fans self.)

Hey, WarpGirl, in Commander Tucker Falls in Love, I have poor Trip showing T'Pol the movie Notorious and deciding to his chagrin that HE'S Ingrid Bergman and SHE'S Cary Grant.

I read that, but I can't say I entirely agreed. But hey any classic film references made anywhere always have my ENTHUSIASTIC approval. So many people have no appreciation for the art form anymore. It's all summer blockbusters and CGI. Hey I love sci-fi as much as anyone here, but I also appreciate good old fashioned things too. Every classic movie like "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "The Court Jester" had me leaping for joy in ENT. I think someone on staff was a Bergman fan.

Back to food and Vulcans, I think a Vulcan would appreciate a good and spicy Indian Vegetable Curry. I always imagine T'Pol trying a varitety of Indian and Thai foods. But lately I've been toying with ideas to vegetarianizes some European and American dishes as well. Like Stuffed Grape Leaves from Greece, Portobello Parmasan, from Italy, and lots of Cous Cous recipies as well. I can't spell Sucatosch right but I always thought it would be a dish that Trip could share with her that combined their cultures values. I think part of the reason bringing food into Trip and T'Pol's relationship is so fun is that there's a commonality even though he's a meat eater and she is most assuredly NOT. Like Surak says, We have differences, may we together, become greater than the sum of our parts.

ShouldKnowBetter has T'Pol partial to mushroom risotto. Sounds yummy.

I'm not a great fan of succotash, unless it's made with so much butter or cream or something that it's criminal. Then it's okay. The Cheesecake Factory's succotash, for example, is just fine, because they are EVIL. They serve it alongside a yummy broiled catfish special with a crunchy pecan topping. I have a feeling Trip would enjoy the whole dish.

Getting into a fairly unspeakable area, I wonder if T'Pol had asparagus, would she smell it later and be alarmed.... LOL. Among humans that is actually genetically determined.

Maybe but I LOVE aspargus so I wouldn't care. I don't think Vulcans would object to cream, butter, or dairy. After all, it is cruel NOT to milk a cow they suffer a lot if you don't. Also Phlox said in hmmm... I can't remember the episode but he said a Vulcan digestive system can handle just about anything at all. Which makes sense if you're stuck in the desert you'd better be able to eat and drink anything. Oh and Saffron Risotto is to DIE for. I want to try Giada De Laurentis' butternut squash risotto. When my kitchen is done I'm going to experiment. I watch food Network Way too much to be healthy.
