This came to me this morning over coffee:

"You're toast!" Trip proclaimed wickedly, laying his cards down on the table. "Twenty-one."

T'Pol suppressed a scowl, though her amused mate could sense her irritation through their bond. She laid down her three cards: a four and two kings. She didn't believe in the human superstition called luck. Nevertheless, it was difficult to understand how the same man who managed to find disaster on every single away mission he'd ever been on also managed to win every single game they'd ever played. He claimed his good luck at games of chance was the universe's way of making up for his crappy fortune in so many other areas of life.

"Go on. I'm ready to collect my final winnings," Trip prompted.

"This is illogical."

"Not from where I'm sitting, it's not. Come on, I won fair and square."

"I'm already cold, Trip. It's freezing in here."

"You're not that cold. I can feel it," Trip said, tapping his brow. "I'll warm you up in a minute, but first, my winnings. Take it off."

Love it! Though I've never heard of strip black jack before LOL!

Two people in the same room each playing solitare. If one catches the other losing or cheating... Jeeze I've never played strip-anything and I'm the only one who knows it exists! That's creeping me out.

Trip as toast? I never thought of that one. Next time I have butter toast for breakfast this image will problably pop up in my mind.

"The CPDBAVSB is very effective, considering that even T'Pol seemed to be speaking in good faith when she told us that baloney about the Vulcan habit of doing this thing every seven years."
Hands crossed behind her back, eyebrow raised to underline her puzzled look, T'Pol questioned Trip: "CPDBAVSB?"
Trip laughed aloud. "Citizens' Privacy Defence Bureau About Vulcan Sexual Behaviour."
T'Pol was tempted to snort. "This... Bureau doesn't exist and..."
Trip wasn't able to stop his laughing. "No?"
And T'Pol wasn't able to not snort. "No. And, as I was attempting to say before you interrupted me so c-i-v-i-l-l-y, I never said that Vulcans aren't able to do... this thing... outside their mating cycle."
Trip's loud laugh became a horse-laugh. When he managed to bottle up the gale of laughter, he said, "Oh... oh sure!... Sure, Honey!... I can personally testify to that!"
