 The dress in the pic is nice, but the face of the woman isn't very pretty. Look at those eyebrows. :vulcan: They are ugly and don't match the colour of her hair. The hair is very pretty.

Thank you Pansyanne, now if I can Get Marchale to do a fake for me of that Dress and T'Pol in it. Or anyone else who might want to try it.

I'll try my best to see what I can find online for wedding wear for her (and Trip too), but it may take me awhile - I haven't done any fakes since 2005, so I'm pretty rusty and out of practice, LOL!

Ahh, thanks for saying that, but no - I don't, sorry. I've done some female fakes (only the one on Seven was racy because I seen the wallpaper and thought it works for her), but I'm definitely alot more interested in working on racier male fakes. Speaking of which, I just found out my favorite old haunt for male bodyshots changed its name from "icyhothunks" to "hunkforo" - I'm probably the only heterosexual woman hanging out on that gay men's site looking for pics I can't wait to make fakes out of (and oh, have I found some good ones there, no nudes (well at least not obvious ones anyway) but definately some drool-worthy stuff for Trip fakes in the future!

Not that I'm complaining, mind you. And they were tastefully done. Jolene has done photo shoots that were racier than marchale's Connor fakes. I suppose what's good for the goose...

Hi, thank you for saying you thought they were tastefully done, I appreciate that! I had done a few nudes in the past (when I was brand new to faking and hanging out with others doing that) which I'm very, very unhappy about now (I tried to have them removed from the internet but couldn't) - NEVER say or do anything online you might later deeply regret, it'll really haunt you afterwards! But anyway, I do try to keep my "near nudes" in good taste by not really showing anything. I used to run a yahoogroup for fakers years ago and quit it because I had a "no explicit nudity" rule too many fakers were violating (I'm not a prude at all by any means, but I just didn't want others doing what I deeply regret having done myself in the past a few times). Oh, and I do Trip fakes, not Connor fakes - I don't do real people, let fictional characters try to sue me if they want to, I don't want real life actors pissed off at me. (Tho, I did use a pic of Connor in "Waiting For T'Pol" to give Trip a "bed head" or mussed up hair look there as if he just woke up, but since Trip himself is the one who's waiting for T'Pol and not Connor himself, I thought I could get away with that in that particular instance since everyone's hair is a mess when you first wake up before you get out of bed, right?

And yep, I'm definitely a "straight as a board" heterosexual female who's interest in female characters is strictly platonic. I try to make the female fakes look at least kinda mildly sexy for my male (and a few lesbian) friends who like that, but frankly - doing female fakes is pretty dull and boring to be honest with you, it doesn't turn me on in the least but I know my friends like it so I do it more for them than for me, thats for sure! Now, the guys on the other hand, I love working on my male fakes with a passion and if I can get them looking drool-worthy (I'm not very good at faking but I still have fun trying!), now thats where the real fun is, lol!!

my husband always sighs with happy satisfaction when he walks in and I'm doing a new jolene painting morph. Google "jolene blalock" and hit Images and you've got a pretty racy set of eye candies up on the screen there. But I need to find her head! Just cause the perfect head sits atop a maxim shot that barely keeps her reproductives under wraps ain't my fault! So I'm busily trimming around this picture where she's got basically nothing on and is all oiled up and dripping and Lee's just like: "Ahhh. Can't complain when the wife is looking up the porno for me!"

LOL, yeah - I bet he enjoys that! (I've seen her "eye candy" non-T'Pol pics too while in search of T'Pol pics). I hear you about your head hunting there, sucks - doesn't it? Practically everything I got is from back in 2005 when I had a 800 x 600 resolution monitor and nowdays I can find plenty of bodyshots made for the modern resolution monitors (I think mine's 1386 x 796 or something like that, its widescreen anyway) but yeah - where are the nice, high resolution heads of Star Trek characters to use on modern monitors? I did nicely mention I'm looking for them in a couple of posts I've made, but apparently nobody took the hint there. Maybe they just don't know WE NEED LARGER HEADS OF STAR TREK CHARACTERS FOR OUR ARTWORK PEOPLE, SO IF YOU KNOW OF ANY URLS, PLEASE SHARE THEM WITH US, THANK YOU!!!!! There, now maybe they've taken the hint, LOL! Good luck on head hunting there, I know what fun thats not.

 I could totally see that. I'd like to see a little tiny something Vulcan about it, too.

Something old, something new, something Vulcan.......

What's wrong with something similar to what she wore in "Home"? Simple, but gorgeous on her?

Something Old, something New, Something borrowed, Something Blue. any one could be a Vulcan thing..

Why not her outfit from "Home>" First it would bring back bad memories for Trip. This is their big day and remembering her marriage to Koss would ruin it.

Second I think that she wants to honor his culture and please him by wearing a human Wedding Gown (or at least that is the way I see it)

I didn't say the exact dress she wore but one similar. And I didn't see that dress as being especially Vulcan looking. It just looked formal and could have been worn on Earth without anyone being the wiser.

Dunno, Looked pretty Vulcan to me. It certainly was a standout outfit. Not one easily forgotten. I have read coments on how different and lovely it looked and how Vulcan. Certainly Trip would have it burned in to his mind. You cannot see the woman you love marry another man and forget what she wore.

There's one point you're not considering, Silverbullet. A woman buys a wedding dress for herself, not for her groom. My husband didn't even see my dress until the wedding, and frankly, as long as the dress wasn't obscene or hideous I'm absolutely certain that he couldn't have cared less about what it looked like. I bought it because I liked it and I thought I looked good in it. It reflected my tastes, not his.
