I wish everyone a joyful Christmas and a happy brand new year.

Family gets here. We eat. Then they start fighting about their dog and whether or not it's "freaking out" in the next room. (it's *not* btw, it's tail its wagging and it's fine) but they argue about it till one of them is mad.

Nice relaxing after dinner chat.

I keep remembering the scene in Harry Potter when they go to the St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies at Xmas and there's a guy in the waiting room with a satsuma jammed up his nose.....

I guess I oughta go drink now......

Not too much holiday drink with the inlaws, now, it loosens the tongue!

Hope everyone had a good holiday... I, on the other hand, ended up going out for batteries for my sweet new Fenix PD30 flashlight... stopped in front of Wal-Mart at 11:30 PM to ask a cop driving by next to me if they were open. How does he reward my friendliness and lack of suspicion with the local law enforcement? He stops me and gives me a $59 ticket on Christmas Eve for having expired tags.

I have absolutely zero holiday cheer for any member of local law enforcement right now. Piss off, flatfoot! :-X

LOL you poor thing! What's an "expired ticket" anyhow?

He was probably grumpy about having to work Xmas eve.

They weren't in-laws. They were my peeps. :-x All is well though. A minor moment of stress.

HAPPY XMAS ALL!
