New Fanfic Up!

Does anybody have anything outstanding they're waiting to see go up?

I've got several thing, but it'll take me a day or two to sort it out. I fell off the horse and broke two ribs, so I'm half the day zonked on pain killers.

Yep, someone startled the horses and she bucked. Struck me into the ribcage with a hoof while I went down.

I'm happy you're alive, Kotik. An acquaintance of mine in the SCA lost her 6 year old son a couple of weeks ago. The boy sneaked out of the house to go see the horses in the pasture next door and she found him a while later trampled to death. The buggers are dangerous.

Well they are dangerous if you have idiots, who drop the ramp of a truck - ignoring the fact that horses get startled easily - such as it happened to me. I was in the training hall, practising, while someone slammed down the ramp with a huge bang. About 20 horses got startled and started to whinny in fear. That's when my horse lost it and bucked. While she fled, I practically rolled off over her butt and one of her hind hooves smashed my ribs in before I struck the ground. So basically I've now some broken ribs because some idiot forgot that you don't make sudden and loud noises, when you're surrounded by horses.

No prob, sista! I'm just sorry it took me a little longer than I originally said to get this taken care of. My weekend kind of fell apart when my phone broke on Friday, then after work on Saturday I had a Christmas party to attend, and we'd ended up staying until almost midnight when we'd only intended to stay an hour or so.

So yeah, I got a little behind.
