Anybody up for betaing an experimental 3,580-word story?

Thanks! :D

Is this the "Imzadi" you're advertising in your sig?

Yes, it is. Lady Rainbow has kindly betaed it (at warp speed, too!) and I'm just about ready to submit it.

Cool. I'm looking forward to seeing how you tie in the Betazoids with Enterprise. I thought I was the only one who wrote about it, seeing as how we first see Betazoids on screen in TNG.

Well, this isn't anything like how you worked Betazoids in - but that's the beauty of fanfic! :D

Um...okay, is anyone up for betaing an old NC-17 story that's been on my computer for ages?

It's called "A Pact with Mephisto" and it's actually set in the MU universe. MU Trip plays a role in it, though the story itself is MU Hoshi/MU Reed. It answers the question, "Did MU Trip know about MU Hoshi's ambitions to be Empress?" And one thing I'd noticed about IAMD: Hoshi's slept with Forrest, Archer, Mayweather (most probably) and Tucker (implied). But you never hear her talk about being with Major Reed. Why? (And it's not just because he's the MACO commander.)

Any takers?

Sorry, but I don't do NC-17. Most people seem too, though.

So... Who wants to beta an episode of Foundations?

*checks what Foundations is* :? I can't do scripts, sorry.

Meanwhile, I managed to get the Vulcan KGB fic, which could be loosely described as the Bourne Identity meets Mr and Mrs Smith, done. (Yeah, you read that right). It's about 20.5k words, only vaguely shippy, but full of wangst and colorful idioms, (but no trout). Any takers on The Le'Matya Sleeps Tonight? *starts humming*

Sounds like that might be right up Linda's alley. I'd try pm'ing her. She's occasionally a bit slow to respond on the boards...busy gramma and all. 8)

*nods* I'll probably be patient and wait, since I'd rather not impose. Also, it's a holiday weekend, so I suspect folks are busy with real life things.

*g* My eyes cross whenever I try to read them and I don't know the technical requirements, regardless.

Just as easy to read as prose as far as I'm concerned. Especially the scripts I write. Actually in some cases script can be easier to understand. As for technical requirements, the same as prose - words spelled correctly and used correctly.
