Trip and T'Pols children

Postby Hondafan » Sat Jun 02, 2007 7:39 am

I know that some fan fics exist where TnT have children but I wonder how it would be. I know I am a softie but I have always wanted them to have a bunch of kids. I liked Quills stories with Soma and Lorian. I have read the stories about TLisa. I was just thinking that it would be great to have a fanfic devoted solely to the TnT brood of children.

I would agree with this completely! Very Happy
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Mom, Dad, and Self-sealing Stem Bolts by THECURSOR

http://triptpolers.houseoftucker.com/fi ... olts.shtml

Trip and T'Pol have 3 children spaced 7 years apart, from preschooler to young adult, all getting into age-appropriate kinds of trouble. LOVED it. It was selected as an "Elessar's Classics." That's how I saw it.

Rainbow's Foot by Shouldknowbetter.

Trip is Mr. Mom with two young kids from a previous marriage. T'Pol has one young kid from a previous marriage. The single parents hook up. I think their first date is to Chuck-E Cheese, or the 22nd century equivalent. This one's not about the kids, but Trip's parenting skills are wonderful.

Mom, Dad, and Self-sealing Stem Bolts by THECURSOR is the only one I can think of where they have more than two kids.
In Hado Vinceres Tradicion (I may have not spelled that correctly) they adopt. Some interesting scenes in that one.

Confused I don't know maybe it's just me, but it's really hard for me to take to fics that are like so totally AU like a totally different setting, and the characters themselves and their lives and backgrounds are so different from their canon counterparts, to the point that they resemble them by name (and presumably appearance) only Confused not saying it's like bad writing or something because after all that's what AU is for, just that it's kinda like borderline original fiction and well for me when I wanna read fanfic I wanna read something that's true to that familiar universe and characters I'm supposedly reading about, and when I wanna read original fiction it's just like too confusing that it's using non-original characters (if only by name and appearance). Never read the fic in question but from your summary that's what it sounds like Confused

No, no, its a lovely story. Very very angsty at first, though. T'Pol starts out in pretty bad shape. And her daughter is a treasure of a character.

And that particular series (starting A Logical Proposal) was began in the hiatus between season 1 and 2. Aside from one particular episode in the series that involves Soval, it remains one of my favorites.

It sure is easy to tell the stories written before Soval became a good guy.

Agreed! It's also one of the first fics I ever read and it just blew me away. I'm not normally into fics with just a romantic element - I want an adventure of some kind too. But this particular series had that, so I didn't mind the last part of Shouldknowbetter's story, even if that was just romance (albeit an angsty one). The writing really made me forget that there wasn't an additional adevnture plot.

Yes, when I first discovered fanfic, I was immediately pointed to that story as the best out there. Don't worry. Somehow they are very in character, even if this particular alternative universe branched off from 1st or 2nd season.

When I think of TnT's children I think of the following acters and actress'
Daughters
Hayden Panettiere as T'Lisa Tucker
Sophie Marceau as another T'Tucker
Ali Larter as another T'Tucker
Sons
Milo Ventimiglia as S'Tucker
Robert Leeshock as a S'Tucker
Brad Pitt as a STucker
Yes I would love to see TnT have 6 kids. I am a firm believer that good people should have lots of children.

You'd be a great T'Pril. (That's the name of T'Pol's daughter in The Rainbow's Foot)

TLR's little Lizzie's series is also very good.

Unfortunately it's not quite finished yet and no one has heard from TLR if she is still working on it or not.
