Asso's Mother passed away Saturday. She ws 88 years old. Asso says she had a good life. She is now going to join his father on the other side. His mother and father were married 60 years.

The funeral will be held Tuesday.

I don't know Asso's last name or an address I could send flowers to although I wish I did.

I have not asked Asso if a donation to a charity in his mothers name might be appropirate.

Asso was a valued member of Trisilk who we have lost.

Transwarp said it best. I'm SO SORRY! Let us know, Asso, if there is anything we can do. Maybe you can mention a charity here in this thread.

Silverbullet, with whom I often exchange e-mails (you know: an Italian romantic heart and a romantic heart of Ireland: these hearts cannot but talk to each other) informed me that he opened this thread, in which he talked about my loss.

These days were full and the funeral took place today. Certainly I had neither time nor desire to sit in front of my computer.
But now everything is done, and I'm at peace: in 2003 my father died and now my mother, after a life full and dense, reached - serene - the man who was the first and only man in her life.
I know that now she is happy.
If you allow me to quote one of my stories (Without End) "I can imagine... I can see... my mother and my father walking together, hand in hand... happy... forever... in the light."
T'Pol is again with her Trip.

With this serenity in my mind, this evening I started reading this thread.
So I could touch the warm closeness, the powerful friendship that you - all of you - showed for me. Even with the words of my native language!

I am speechless.

I can only say one thing: I left.
And I went back.
Because this is my home.
I left again.
And I went back again.
Because this is my home.
I think it's time that I get back definitely.
That I remain here.
Because this is my home.

Asso, then let me be the first to welcome you back to our board and group. I, for one, have missed you and your Birthday graphics. among your other graphics.

Hopefully there will not be another problem re a story of yours. That is water under the bridge now.

I have been very busy with back to school things so I haven't been to the board in a while. I am so sorry, Asso. Big hugs to you. Your mother had a good long life. Welsome back to my favorite romantic!

Asso, I am so sorry for your loss. We exchange emails and I didn't even know! I grieve with thee. Both my parents are gone so I truly know what a difficult time this is.
