Save your old poetry
Just a suggestion. I think all you poetry writers should go get your T 'n T poems off the HoT poetry forum topic thread and submitt them to "How Do I Love Thee?" Poetry is meant to be reread.

It's done. I've submitted the poem that I started the thread with last year. Since Linda had already submitted a Vulcan love poem, I also found one of mine in a similar vein.
For those of you who may have missed it, the HoT poetry thread has been running for almost a year now. The way we've done it is with a variety of poetry games. I'm wondering if perhaps there are other poets out there who'd like to join the games. To that end, I'll be posting poems at intervals, and guidelines here for the game that prompted each poem. These are meant to provide inspiration, and are not "challenges" per se. If one of our games gives someone an idea which results in a new poem for all of us to enjoy, then it will have done its job.
"The Declared One's Lament"that I've just posted was written in response to the following idea: Write a Vulcan love poem in any style without actually using the word "love".
Anyone else want to give it a try? I'd like to invite our other poetry thread writers to resurrect their poems as well. Let's show everyone what we've been up to.

NEW games? Jeez. I think we've done every poetry style in the English language and covered every subject even remotely Star Trek related. Hmmm.
How about this. Pick your favorite episode and do a poem about TnT from some OTHER character's point of view, any style. Then we have to guess who's POV you're doing. Anybody? (You can't post it here, now. You've got to put it in the poetry archive.)
