Postcards from Deep Space One by Drogna
Chapter One of "Postcards from Deep Space One" is now up at my website:
Postcards from Deep Space One
Summary: Trip and T’Pol have trouble communicating, Commander Reed takes a busman’s holiday and a new alien race pick DS1 as the place to sign their treaty with the Federation.
This a sequel to Desert Rose and A Thousand Years.
Hope you like it!
As always, updates may be erratic due to Mini-drogna being too young to understand the importance of fanfiction.

Even better than the last one. Which I would not have believed possible.
More please?
More please?

Very nice! Looking forward to seeing where you take this.
Are the Bolians the blue guys with the vertical ridge running down their face that kept showing up on DS9?

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.
But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

This is just outstanding! I absolutely love the idea that it's Malcolm who devises the Kobayashi Maru test for Starfleet cadets. With his temperment, he'd be just the person to design a devious no-win scenario.
You're doing a terrific job of showing the ups and downs of living with the bond on a day-to-day basis. I'm sure that it would be both extremely satisfying and incredibly annoying at the same time.
Well, we all know that the Bolians are going to be up to no good (at least we hope they aren't). It's a good thing that Malcolm's there to help out in an emergency. Now that you have this story started, I don't know which one I'm looking forward to more -- this one or "Songs in Red and Grey."

Drogna what a wonderful followup to AThosand years and it's nice to see the direct affects the bond is having on Trip & T'Pol. I'm glad to see malcolm on board the space station and developing the Kobayashi Maru training scenario for Starfleet. Also looking forward to seeing the Bolians and how T'Pol deals with the negoiations. This is a really great start to your new stoery looking forward to reading up date soon.

Agree with everything said above. Great first chapter. I see Trip is still working himself into the ground. Look forward to a lot more chapters to come.

Re: Postcards from Deep Space One by Drogna
You sure know how to set up a mystery! Wow!
Poor T'Pol. This is just going to be one of those days when nothing goes right. As if the Bolians weren't already a big enough problem, now with engineering snafus and a corpse, things could really get ugly. And their insistence that they would only deal with Archer -- very suspicious.
I really like the idea that you're dealing with the bond. I could see how it would be a vital component of their life together -- and how devastating it would be if the bond no longer functioned. I hope this problem has a positive outcome.
This chapter was fabulous, as always. I'm really looking forward to chapter 3.

I only browsed through the new chapter. Looks exciting though. I have to go clean bathrooms. . I wll definitely take my time reading this tonight.
Re: Postcards from Deep Space One by Drogna
Great Chapter T'Pol thinking about her bond with Trip & worrying about him.Poor T'Pol having arrogant stuffy Bolians who dislike Vulcans and generally acting like jerks demanding Archer hold diplomatic talks. I feel sorry for her. I like the fact you're delving deeper into their relationship well done.It seems like someone is deliberately sabotaging the stations systems since the Bolian was murdered someone doesn't want them to join the Federation.

Can't seem to access the site. Dang.
It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?
