LOL! I just got this note from my sister (names removed). See, they borrowed my Enterprise DVDs. My neice is in middle school.
I have to tell you how [my daughter] responded to the final episode of Season IV. As soon as Riker indicated that Trip gets killed, she yelled “NO, happily ever after, happily ever after!!!
I guess you’ve got another convert. Are there any extra “Still Alive” shirts?

My 11 year old daughter watches Enterprise with me sometimes. She loves Trip & T'Pol and she cant sit through any other Star Trek. I will NOT let her watch *the_abomination*. She doesn't even know the episode exists.

That's really cool that they like Trip & T'Pol and a good idea not to show them The Abomination.

She also doesn't know Harbinger or Damage exist. For different reasons...

However...
Really, the more I am thinking about that, the less I am capable of understanding.
OK: lets suppose Enterprise should have ended

(who knows the why

), but, honestly, why in this way?

But that's something she can see * some day *, right? Like... when she's 30?

*the_abomination* is off limits
FOREVER!!!

Is she allowed to use the internet at 11? I would invite you to invite her to come join us but we DO have those *adult* areas and the internet itself is 98% "adult area" so... I can understand if she's not.

She can use the internet, but she's more interested in little girl game sites like americangirl.com and pollypocket type stuff. Maybe when she's older. She's not interested in Star Trek enough right now to get involved in a fan site.

But... if she feels the urge to fanfic, please share the stories with us! We need the freshness of a mind untainted by the abomination

(we can just hide the decon chamber from her)

I could even embarass her by putting above the Decon Banner, "NO ENTRY FOR EMILY WATSON!" or whatever her name is
