I gave up writing a while back, but every once in a while a story idea bounces through my head. Any one want to toss out story ideas for others to use? Something you know you don't have time to finish?

I mentioned this one before--But IF there were a holoversion of Trip (and why wouldn't there be--he was a cool historical figure) he could be "mailed" anywhere, electronically. How about a story where "Trip" and Vic exchange advice about women? How about "Trip" gets emailed to Voyager by Barklay to help bring the Voyager home?

What if the Cogenitor's "suicide" was not a "suicide" at all, but he/she was murdered or "disappeared" by the powers that be, and much later Trip found out.

What if Sim had survived his "proceedure" and lived long enough to meet Trip?

What if Trip began to have Sim's memories (or suffer some sort of post-Tramatic stress disorder) as a result of having part of Sim's brain?

OK, just add T'Pol and you've got a Trip 'n T'Pol story (he, he . . . ) See, they don't call me justTrip'n for nothing!

Neat ideas, especially the cogenitor one! I will think about it. If they killed him/her it might be that there is already rebellion brewing and they are dealing with it with draconian repression. I wonder if being so critical to the reproductive cycle, at one time the cogenitors were treated like royalty and abused their power and now they are the oppressed group. Could be a very interesting fic. Anyone else up for working with this?

course with surrogacy and unknown bajillions of currently cryo-frozen embryos, we don't really need men for reproduction even now...even without cloning....
i hope the men aren't brought low by science in RL
