Re: Linda's Vampire story for Halloween
Halloween? BRRRRRR!

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Aaack... so now I'm torn...
Do I read now and wait in suspense?
Or
Do I save the story for Halloween and read it as a Halloween treat? (All of your stories have been treats so far, Linda, so I'm sure I'll love this one!)
This is just as hard as not raiding the trick o' treat candy bags in my cabinet....

Re: Linda's Vampire story for Halloween
Thanks for liking my stories, Emberchyld! It encourages me to write more. I thought it would be fun to have people read each part separately and see if they can guess about the vampire. But don't tell anyone else about your idea of what it is all about until the last of the three chapters is up, Okay? I wanted to see if I could write a mystery that surprised readers.

Eh, no!
I read the beginning because I'm not capable of resisting. (And I did very well!) When Halloween will come I will read it again (with the remainder).

Re: Linda's Vampire story for Halloween
I posted Chapter 2, and then partly unposted it because it has pictures missing. Even if you can find it, Linda would rather you waited to read it. This evening I promise.

Re: Linda's Vampire story for Halloween
but we wanna read it!
What? You mean she isn't leaving a good sixteen months between updates? Pssssh. That's not fanfiction. That's like....something else.
Something better.

Re: Linda's Vampire story for Halloween
Why hasn't anyone else done photos? That's a great idea! I did a newspaper page once in my 1st story, but that was only so I could write stuff and not have to make people say it.
like that gooback episode of south park with all the news clips.
Awesome job so far! Can't wait 4 part 3!
What locale are the pix actually from in RL?

Re: Linda's Vampire story for Halloween
Good for you, T'Poptarts! Please give us the reference, a link to your story with the picture. I am not good at surfing around to find things, while you seem a master of the graphic arts!
The real world local of the vampire story is Lubec, Maine and Campobello Island. At the end of the third chapter I will give links to web sites on the area. Lubec is well worth a visit. Now I am making myself homesick for Lubec and friends there! Wish I could do the local accent better, just like I wish I could do the accent of my own Scottish grandfather - or the Florida accent of my sister-in-law. Sigh, but I am just a dull midwestern woman.

Re: Linda's Vampire story for Halloween
Well, I hope everyone who has been following the vampire story likes the way the third and final chapter resolves the mystery. It should be up soon. Let me know if you guessed what the ending might be and what gave you a clue! I hope it is a satisfactory ending.
