How do you think T'Pol could react if, during their Honeymoon, Trip would bring her here?

I need your opinions.
I'm thinking... something.

T'Pol would react like this: --> :vulcan:

And Trip would have to sleep on the couch for a week or two.

Mah!

I'm unsure.
And if T'Pol would have wanted to learn Can Can ? (You know, as a science officer...)
Well... in this case how do you think TRIP... could react :D ?

T'Pol wanting to learn Can-Can is just as in character as some of these other wish-fulfillment adolescent fantasy fanfics I've seen where she wears thong underwear and strips down in front of him to go swimming. IMO, no woman would deliberately wear thong underwear unless a man had invented it first and convinced her it was fashionable. Too damned uncomfortable.

That being said, I just don't see Trip as the type who goes for Can-Can dancers. I would think a man's got to be pretty old-fashioned and sexually repressed to find a woman prancing around and flashing her underwear at him to music sexually appealing. I mean... where's the skin? I would think he'd prefer something more straightforward... like a lap dance.

Hmmm. What if T'Pol came across a reference to a "lap dance" being the proper way to seduce a man and attempted to learn how? Still not in character... but I'd sure like to read it.

Eh.... mebbe. 8)

Come to think of it... she might also be intrigued by belly dancing. The art is ancient, after all. Maybe someone on Enterprise is offering classes and Hoshi suggests she take the class with the girls to loosen up a little. And THEN she discovers a unique talent for it.

Belly dancing and lap dancing would be more in character because they're done alone and not in a group like Can-can... and they're often done for an audience of one rather than in public. I can't see her doing anything like this is public.

Mh...
Distracted, world (and universe) is ample.
And cultures are different.

Anyway, I think T'Pol is sufficiently different so as to be capable of bewildering.
And Trip... is Trip.

And then...
Lap dance? Sure! But Offenbach is culture...
And T'Pol likes... culture.

I can see honeymooning in Paris -that has the ring of tradition. And taking her to the Louvre... If she was interested in the Impressionists, he might show her Monmartre...ect. ect. 8)

I kind of agree with some other comments on this one.
I personally don't think this is T'Pol's thing. She may take an interest in dancing as a whole and consider seeing this as just one of the many varieties, but if Trip is looking to impress her with parts of human culture he thinks is interesting and fun I can't see him taking her there, even if he really did think it was a great show, and I can't imagine that he would. For one thing he would be very considerate of her hearing and there is a lot of noise going on, I'm sure It'd be enough to give T'Pol a headache. :)

Thank everyone.

Now my ideas are clearer.
Distracted's suggestions are intriguing. :doubt:
Maybe it's worth thinking something about that.
