Other Active Trip/T'Pol FF sites?

I was just curious as to what comes up when one googles "Trip and T'Pol fan fiction" and I got a few places I'd never heard of - probably because I joined the community in early 2005 when things were unfortunately winding down for Enterprise.

I found places like The Warp 5 Complex and Illogical Logic as well as a number of others (many in various states of disrepair or last updated 2 years ago), but I was wondering if anyone is a member of or knows of any TnT fanfiction archives still active on the net? In the interests of securing a lasting community, I'd like to find these places and invite them to link with us and possibly even personally invite their authors to post to us if they're interested. You see a lot of fandoms go kaput because there are 15 different mom-and-pop operations with 5 people each. I think it makes more sense to have 1 of 75 :D .

It looks like Warp 5 Complex is still active.

It would be kinda funny if I emailed someone on another site only to discover that it's an old penname of someone I already know here

EDIT: I'm of course only talking about places we're not already linked to... I know like KTR and CX and Drogna and HR and lot of you have your own sites we're already linked to :D

Welcome, ravensrookery. :D
It's beautiful that another person wanted to join us.
Would you like to tell us something about you?
There's a thread ad hoc.

Obviously only if you want to do it. :D

Yeah Drogna's got good stuff. Desert Rose was a classic (literally, I picked it as a classic :D) and one of my all time favorites.

Now what, exactly, is "slash"? I've never quite been able to piece it out.

Because gay slash is how it started.

I used to like Triptofan - http://triptofan.hopto.org/ - but it appears to have disappeared off the internet. It had some good fiction (although much of it unfinished), avatars, screencaps etc. Anyone know what happened to it?

As to slash, I think slash only indicates gay fiction because as CX says, gay slash was where the term was first used. In fact I seem to remember reading (possibly in Jenkins' Textual Poachers) that Kirk/Spock was one of the early fandoms where the term was used. When I first heard the term I assumed it was some reference to horror fiction. Although I suppose that depends on your view of certain pairings!

Triptofan's gone?! LIGEIA! WHERE ARE YOU?! :(

I had the same questions about slash... Actually, back inthe day, my first trek con in 2005, there was a booth of "Fanzines" that were literally published fanfiction anthologies. I don't know if they were on their way out the door or just got shut down or stopped attending cons, but I've never heard or seen a lick of them since. Anyway, this was when I had written some stuff and I told the lady so she gave me her card to submit something, but I started looking at everything she had.

I almost bought something but she was like "you're 18 right?" and I'm like "yea... why... ?" and she's like "Cuz it's slash" and my mom's there too and I was like "Uhhh.... you mean like... violent?" and she was like "Uh, no, like homoerotica." and my mom laughed out loud, :guffaw:

Yeah, the particular story I had picked up (before knowing it was slash) was a DS9 fic about Garek, O'Brien and Keiko, I kid you not

Dang. I can't get to any fics in here -- it takes forever to load just the index and then tells me either that something wasn't archived or it can't display the page. Anyone know if these stories still exist someplace else?

Ligeia's videos are still up somewhere else, yay.
