For those of you who have been following the Pocket Books Enterprise relaunch, Amazon.com now shows Star Trek: Enterprise - Kobayashi Maru in stock (as of this morning). You'll get more bonded Trip and T'Pol interaction and the kick-off of the Romulan War. Perhaps we can turn this into an official review thread when enough people have finished reading?

It says next to it though that it's release is August 26th, though, right?

I know I'm slightly masochist, but I will try to read it.

I got my copy today at Barnes & Noble. I did scan a few pages and found some old friends in the story. All I need is a soft chair and a cup of tea!

Stary eyes, have we met you yet? There is a thread where new members introduce themselves. I just peaked at the member info. You're not exactly new . . . but I don't think we've been formally introduced.
Welcome. If you like you can go to this thread to introduce yourself:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=73&start=0Lurking is fine too! Glad to know you're out there. And glad to know the book is out!

Wow, fast shipping! Mine arrived this afternoon. I suspect Amazon shipped it Thursday or Friday and their email went out late. I'm already 100 pages in.

Come on now guys, you've had the books at least a couple hours...

and no TnT news yet? I'm dying to know if there is good news before I buy, I'm cowardly that way.

I'm a slow reader - I'm only about 20 pages in. No TnT yet. Just one scene w/ T'Pol. Nothing special.

holy crap!!!!
The book is pretty good so far, up thru like p50... But the real gold is on page 317, 318, 319!
All I will say is in spoiler code:
SPOILER!!!:
Tpol:
"don't waste time talking"
Malcolm:
"at least the ship isn't rocking, Malcolm thought, thankful of small mercies.

This is such a lovely day: Sun is shining, sunday of a bank holiday weekend, the end of the Olympics Celebration, the Notting hill carnival in full swing out side and that Spoiler... nice!
Life is good.
