Hmm, that reminds me I haven't submitted that miniseries to TriS yet...

That's why I had such a hard time finding it in my bookmarks! I could have sworn I read it at Trip and T'Polers, when it was actually at fanfiction.net.
To reiterate a point I made in the "Did We See A Relationship?" thread, what I like about your TnT is that you don't create a perfect universe for them. They understand pursuing a romantic relationship won't be easy, but whether they stay together or not is a decision
they make for themselves. Not their friends, family, Starfleet or the VHC. You may marry
into a family, but you don't marry
a family. Of course different cultures and societies may feel differently, but for me, and most Western society I think, it ultimately comes down to the two individuals making a commitment to each other. I find stories where TnT take this path and deal with the various drama that comes with it, as opposed to stories where TnT dwell and angst for thirty chapters about even getting involved in the first place a hell of a lot more compelling. Your story,
Just Within Reach, is another great example of the former. I'm a firm believer of the old adage
if it's worth having, it takes time and effort.
