These are the Voyages?

I've had a couple people ask where I've been and what's going on, so I figured I'd post a copy of the message I left on my RSS feed for those who don't subscribe to it.

Kevin's RSS Feed wrote:In case you were wondering what happened after September 1 to cause no more stories to be posted, a couple significant things changed. First I got really busy at work and didn't have time to work out story ideas in my head and second, I became increasingly frustrated with my Exiles story lines. It took me a while but I finally figured out my frustration resulted from Charles and T'Pol not being the Trip and T'Pol that we all came to know and love. Creating the Exiles universe was interesting but Charles and T'Pol from the MU are seriously flawed characters that did not hold my interest.

While I was coming to grips with that, House of Tucker decided to upgrade their software and I was not happy at all with how that was handled, as my last couple posts probably make obvious. I guess it sounds kind of pissy, but they decided to make the default view the most complicated one offered by the software and no one provided any clue to unfamiliar users, like me, that a simple profile configuration could restore the view to something reasonable. That was really my final straw with HoT and I decided to peek in at TriaxianSilk. I still read TnT stories and browse the forum there, but I don't post much.

Anyway, I'm not sure where I'll go from here. I've had a lot of fun writing TnT stories but I need to write stories about the Trip and T'Pol characters that closely resemble my view of those in the series. I may revisit my New World Man series and rewrite/rework it and put more detail into the time between "Terra Prime" and the end of the Romulan War. I may spend more time in the E2 universe and flesh out the first couple years of their exile into the past. I may also just walk away and continue spending my time on other interests.

I'm still not sure where I'll go from here. If I write anything more, I intend to post here as I've decided to walk away from House of Tucker. So far, looking into the first couple of years TnT were trapped in the E2 universe has held the most appeal, but not enough for me to sit down and write anything.

Well, Kevin, we'd certainly love to have your stories here. Someone here used to sometimes mention when you posted new ones and I know I would hop right over. Unfortunately leaving feedback at your site pretty much requires disclosing your real email address, which I wasn't comfortable doing.

Even if you just let us know when you put a new one up on our site, that would be great. You might also want to put up a section for new stuff because I have a hard time telling if I've already read stuff once the cookies have aged.

If you can share his site address, for those of us who don't know, it would be appreciated.

It's the same for me.
Since I began to understand that I could have found something else and more agreeable than the bad taste of the show's end on the screen, I had the greatest solace from reading the stories Kevin wrote.

Kevin, I've always enjoyed your stories. You have a unique outlook on the characters and their world. I hope you'll keep writing. :)

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. Please rest assured that if I finish something new, I'll post it and make sure it's not a secret.

I'm interested in the format Rigil has taken with his Divergent Paths storyline. I might do something similar if I delve into the E2 universe.

I'm glad to here you will be posting your stories here. When the show was first over, I looked to you to find out "what happened next." I'm also glad you are thinking about the E-squared universe. Beware: it can be addictive. ;)
