The son of actor Walter Koenig (TOS's Chekov) had been missing for a week. His body was found in a park in Vancouver.

Heartbreaking. Depression is still so little understood. My sympathies go out to his family and friends.

Yes, it's so sad. You read the description of him and see the picture and it's hard to imagine that anything could have been so bad. Multitalented, good-looking guy, he had work, was involved in causes, supportive friends and family . . . . ????? It's so hard to understand from the outside.
