Yes, this part with Nick being a cousin makes it go more smoothly. The emotion is too intense for humor. But now how will Riker handle this? *waits for more*

Aw bugger, I was hoping you'd be done with this by the time I got around to finishing it. :( ;)

:? does this mean I'm loosing my audience?

Spoilers for upcoming scenes:

SPOILER!!!:
Riker sees no other option that wouldn't arouse suspicion, so he decides to use Paris/Torres in a counter-sting operation against the kidnappers by letting them go off on the transport with a phony holo-program, sending Worf (with Picard's authorization) close behind them with the real one. Worf's job will be to ensure their safety and actively go after the bastards who kidnapped Miral.

then the transport will be (very violently) attacked by marauders (I can't wait to get to this part...)

Well, you know how I am with TNG & VOY ... I barely know some of these characters, and don't like some of the others (nothing on you)...

Plus, I'm really behind on my reading. The teacher I have for biology is piling on the homework...

Don't answer to me Rigil, you can't keep up with everything. Plus you're in the middle of a move.

I barely know some of the characters I'm using, LOL.

- And I don't like a lot of them either. Actually I only like three of them - and I even wrote the one I like (the Holodoc) out of the picture for now and then wrote in one I don't like (Wesley).

Why did I do that? Smeg knows.

I'm just getting ready to blow some shit up - and maybe permanently cripple someone; add some blood and guts here and there...

And...
SPOILER!!!:
I've even toyed with the idea of killing off Tom. In a noble way, of course. I'm not sure if I will, though.

Can't you kill Troi and Wesley instead?

About spoiler #1. There's a small problem there.
SPOILER!!!:
Worf is the Federation ambassador to the Klingon Empire.
So it seems to me he'd be kind of busy doing his regular job.
SPOILER!!!:
And wouldn't he have gone back to Qo'nos after Riker and Troi's wedding? It doesn't seem to me that ambassadors are usually rolling around in free time to run security errands.

Tuvok?

Thinking about it. Or I just might make another character. Tuvok might be too obvious unless he's disguised.

An OC that both Riker/Troi and Paris/Torres happen to trust? Eh. :? I can't think of who replaced Worf at tactical either.
