I HAVE MY TICKETS FOR THE SECOND SHOWING!!!! Elessar is going to send me a Triaxian Silk site T-shirt. EEEEEKKKKK!!! Of course, I have my Enterprise earrings . . . . I wonder if they will let me into the theater with a phaser? Stupid zero tolerance policy!!!

I'm going home tomorrow and I think I'll stop at the theater on the way home. (I literally drive past the theatre, which is handy.) Even if the movie isn't great, I figure watching Chris Pine should be enjoyable! I'm looking forward to it.

Due to my martial arts class, a cousin's wedding, mothers' day and a bunch of other unimportant stuff (that's right I said unimportant stuff!!!!!) I can't go until next week AND IT'S KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!

I could go during the day by myself but that wouldn't be any fun would it? My first date with my usband was to see "Wrath of Khan," BTW.

I plan to ignore this movie as much as possible.

That's the spirt! Yeah, I've seen all the Star Trek Movies from Generations on with my husband, all but this one ahead of time, since he used to be a pop culture critic. I'll see this one with him too. My sons work at a restaurant at Lowes Theater and will see the movie in a special employees showing, I think on the I-Max, at 7:00, one hour before me, then they stay to work and hopefully rake in the tips from the partying fans. The word from their friends at the theater is THIS WILL BE BIG! I think it's a good sign that young people are so excited about this.

Yeah, it's got 100% fresh tomatoes (which is apparently good) and a bunch of the critics sound like surprised Trekkies amazed at how cool they found it. I don't think I'll try to be part of the early crowd, but I definitely do want to see this.

I was planning to go after work on Friday, but I think I might go with my Mom on Sunday instead for Mother's day. It'll kill me to wait, but considering I'm broke and will probably only get to see this one once, I'd rather go with my mom, who is my favorite con companion and fellow Experience-r.

Oh, you're lucky. My mom isn't a fan, but she is a GOOD sport. She'd probably go if I asked her.

I will have to wait till next weekend or go some evening during the week. Saturday the boat goes in the water and I have to help put all the other boats at the yacht club in too. Hey, this is the workingman's yacht club, emphasis on WORK. We are all down there in hard hats and leather gloves. So Saturday is shot for going to the movie. Friday night is out too as Jim has organized a fish fry evening with friends from work. Then Sunday we travel to Madison to see my nephew. Arg. I will be the last one on this board to see the darn movie!

Heh, heh, heh ... I just realized Sunday is MOTHER'S DAY.

So damn straight we're going to see Star Trek. Luckily they're both cheerful about that.

After all the glowing reviews I've read, I have to say I'm really looking forward to this.

Nope, Linda. You probably won't be the last one. It'll be a while before I'll be able to get to a theater. unless I can find a babysitter that can deal with my kids.

I got my ticket for the 7pm showing tomorrow! (Not impressed with the movie poster, though.)

I also finally ironed my official enterprise NX-01 patch on to the shoulder of a jean jacket. Once I had it officially ironed on I had the sinking feeling it was on the wrong shoulder. But who's going to know?

YIKES I should make that picture smaller, but I may actually get to see some of you in real life some day, so What the hey!
